Nice spot and the remodel is nice. Everything is par for the course for Starbucks, but they got rid of their outlets, which is a massive shame. So if you want the regular Starbucks experience this place is exactly what you expect it to be (mid). If you want a legacy Starbucks experience then you're out of luck.
It's Starbucks. Which normally I'm not overly enthused about, but in this case has the major benefit of often being open when other local coffee shops are closed. This is especially true in the off season when tourists are more scarce. So, for convenience to freeway access as well as a larger range of operating hours, this is a good option to keep in mind. Smaller on the inside than many other outlets but there is some outdoor seating as well.

I’ve been coming to these Starbucks for years and they are really amazing! I personally watch the interactions every morning and today I got to see grind the scenes with the Manager “Matt” how much they care! Watching the baristas and cashiers getting slammed with orders and how they work is amazing and they really try super hard and care! Go Carpinteria Starbucks! Please give Matt and his team a big applaud for there hard work!
