The food was delicious. The restaurant is understaffed however Mario is great but the waitresses are not trained properly and do not have personalities to be waitresses. I suggest that Mario get good waitresses and it would streamline the dinning experience.

It was the saltiest food I’ve ever had…I don’t typically leave reviews but the food was unacceptable. Visibly understaffed so the service was pretty slow through the meal

The best Italian food in Santa Barbara period. There are obviously fancier places but if you're a committed foody, no gimmicks, this place is it! It's family owned and they are friendly and lovely.

Excellent Experience. I was grateful they were open on Thanksgiving for a beautiful Italian Feast. Great ambiance and hospitality. Highly Recommend!

Great discovery. Very casual, low-key restaurant. Several families with children. Not a super fancy place, but the food was excellent. The caprese salad was fantastic. A considerable portion, and the tomatoes were in peak season. My risotto with shrimp was perfectly cooked. The shrimp was delicious, not rubbery or overcooked (still don't understand why inedible shrimp tails are left on in a risotto, though). The tiramisu was well above average. Not sure why it was served in a parfait cup, though. It is a bit hard to find since it's essentially on a service road between the highway and the ocean. Definitely will be returning the next time I'm in the area.

Fantastic food. Special for the day outstanding super nice outdoor patio. Made us feel we were on vacation. Very authentic and that's a Huge compliment from me because I'm Italian. Owners lovely with personal service and greeting each guest

We discovered this restaurant a few years ago quite serendipitously and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the service warm and inviting. We drive up from Ventura when we are craving great Italian food in a warm and welcoming environment. Our last experience, we hope an anomaly, met with seemingly unengaged staff, a 'hostless' warmth and a little less delicious food. We realize getting great servers is a challenge for restaurants - our son is a chef/owner in Los Angeles, so this feedback is primarily to raise the owners' awareness that there is risk to their great reputation.

First of all what a cute street name this place is located on, Santa Lane. This restaurant had its own personality with the different decor. There is a table of Lego’s, games, and books and I thought perfect for a family to keep kids entertained with non technology fun or a great place to come eat and have fun with your adult friends too. The inside is cozy and the outside is cool to enjoy the ocean air. Our food was delicious. I must come back to try the other pizzas as they all sounded so good. My only negative would be I would love ice with my water. The sodas are served as a can so a little pricey for no refill option.

Food prepared to this level quality is incredibly difficult to find. Absolutely would go back as their sauces and food prep and cook was flawless. I've dined all over the globe and their tapenade alone is a signature dish worth experiencing.

The owner was super welcoming and kind. Service was great! We enjoyed our outdoor seating that was reserved for our large party. The pizzas were delish. And the salads were awesome as well. I would definitely return and try something new...or maybe another pizza...hmmm...
