Small humble shop. I only had the musubi but was the legit best musubis I've had in socal. I wish I lived closer just for that alone. Oh yeah, I will be back to demolition that menu. Loco Moco you're next. Get your fill on here. Supa gude gude.

Great spot to get some Hawaiian grub 🤙🏽 one of the cashiers accidentally made me tip her more than what I wanted. But other than that. It was good.

Stumbled on this spot and wow, what a find! 808 looks like a little hole-in-the-wall but the food is amazing. The portions are huge (easily enough for two), and the chicken and beef are super tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of smoky flavor. Definitely one of the best Hawaiian BBQ plates I’ve had. A must-try if you’re in Carson!

I walked out of here feeling both fed and frustrated. The moment I walked in, the staff’s attitude felt off — slightly rude and unwelcoming. I ordered a poke bowl, but instead of what I actually chose, the staff member gave me something completely different. To make matters worse, they doubled the rice when I clearly ordered a macaroni and rice combo.

The poke was edible, but way over-flavored — heavy on the salt, drowning in mayo, and completely lacking the spicy kick it was supposed to have. If you’re going to call it spicy mayo, at least make it spicy.

The place is small, gets crowded fast, and it felt like the staff member only engaged with people they wanted to talk to while ignoring everyone else. If you want an average meal, sure, give it a try — but honestly, I’d skip the hassle and head to the pizza place next door.

Two Beef Ribs and Two Short Ribs cut into 6 pieces and Mac salad. Falling off the bone, sweet marinade on both items, with the Short Rib a bit smokier. Tender and juicy and good Mac salad is always a bonus. Delicious! Price is not too bad, but the owner mentioned price hike going up soon.

First time here. Ordered the Hawaiian bbq chicken lunch plate. Flavorful! Good portion size for the price. Mac was delish. Overall would go back. One thing is that they’re understaffed, so you may have to wait a while if there is a longer line.
