Using the open table app allowed quick to be seated! We enjoyed the food but my order had an odd taste to stuffed shrimp plate. My husband had the cubano it was a nice sized portion but the empanada was a little greasy.

After a terrible experience on a former visit, I swore I would never go back but my family likes the place so we gave it another try. Much better this time. Noise level was ok; service was perfect, and food was served hot and at a good pace.

Sra. Isabella was our waitress and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My lechon asado was excellent; the pork was tender and moist.

As a long time St Augustine restaurant, it's riding on its reputation more than serving quality food. Our fish was probably a frozen filet, overcooked, dry and just not very good. To send it back to the kitchen would have taken too long as we waited for our orders long enough. I also informed the restaurant that we we're celebrating a birthday. When the waitress arrived with our check, it was obvious that the message was not delivered (although the hostess knew). Just missed communication all they way around. Bartenders only focused on their immediate audience. There were 2 patrons waiting to order a drink ahead of us. They couldn't even get a bartender to acknowledge them. Once I flagged someone I said “these people are ahead of me and waiting to order”. I think the restaurant knows it will get a crowd & there's no need to do more than the bare minimum to keep people walking in the door.

Food and service was great. We were “seated' at a tiny table that was wedged against a huge column. No way to have a conversation with my husband because the table I shared the column with was so loud.
