This Denny’s used to be my go-to for years. As with many things in life, the good doesn’t last forever. I ordered breakfast for curbside pickup at 7:00am. I parked in the designated pickup spot with a clear view inside to see the pickup orders. I noticed food was placed there just 10 minutes after. Not knowing it was mine, I continued waiting. Another 10 minutes go by and the food is still on the counter. I go inside to ask if my order is ready and it turns out to be the food that was on the counter. I asked the employee why nobody brought the food out if it’s a curbside order. She told me I should have called the restaurant to bring it out: “Everybody calls to bring it outside”. I ordered through the app which asked for my car details and it was a CURBSIDE pickup. Why have a curbside option if you’re not actually willing to bring the food out? Not to mention the eggs were flavorless and cold, and the sausage was dry and overcooked. The pancakes were okay. Disappointing.
