As a self described food truck foodie I was excited to see that Rainy's would be at a local holiday event in Grand Terrace as I have heard great things about their offerings. I was not disappointed! Super nice crew and the food was incredible! I was helping with the event so did not have a lot of time and elected to grab something quick so I could get back to my post, I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and as simple as it may seem I was pleasantly blown away by the flavor of the burger! Seasoned amazingly and enjoyed each savory bite! The biggest surprise was the incredible onion rings, I mean who gets shocked by onion rings right? But... these onion rings are simply the best I have ever tasted, anywhere! So light and crispy they could be a highlight themselves! I am a huge fan of Rainy's Soul Food now and will be on the lookout for the next place the truck sets up so I can be the first in line for sure! Great Food from Awesome Folks!

After having Rainy’s Mac and cheese from their food truck this summer, I knew I wanted it for Thanksgiving. I ordered about a week in advance and pick up went smoothly (I picked up the day before Thanksgiving). It was fresh out of the oven and still hot, so I enjoyed a taste and it was even better than I remembered! With this on my Thanksgiving table, I could probably not even cook a turkey and still have happy guests. As if good food wasn’t enough, Rainy might be the nicest human being on the planet. Her secret ingredient must be love.
