Rude lady I called , she told me to wait one minute then hangs up on me. I call back and ignores my calls. Horrible service. Rather eat somewhere else lost business from me

Simple. If you're going to charge $16 or more per plate, please make sure that you're giving customers sriracha sauce and teriyaki sauce and anything else that they need. Because if you're already paying that much and you're going to skimp customers, that's ridiculous, Plus your teriyaki sauce is watered down. I'm not sure if ethanol changed their recipes to cut cough but definitely noticeable and it's sad that people spend so much money to get water-down versions of what l&l used to be.

I haven't been to L&L for a very long time
I forgot how good their food was. I ordered the BBQ mix plate and enjoyed it. The young man that took my order was very kind.

The Asian lady was rude and cheap with a packet of Siracusa. I asked for hot sauce she gave one packet for 3 spam musubi. The musubi wasn’t that good anyway. Stop being cheap with the sriracha packet. At least give two. Never going here again the spam musubi wasn’t all that good anyways and the older lady was rude and not friendly. Like you can smile.
Working around the area and stumbled upon this.. Just hit the spot after a good shift 👌🏼
Inside seating and lots of parking..
Love that their macaroni salad doesn't have tuna! But this time is tasted over cooked with too much mayonnaise.
The loco moco patties tasted frozen & gravy wasn't very good . . ($16)
The mixed BBQ plate comes with a lot of meat, a couple scoops of tice, & Mac salad. ($19)
They don't have the original Red Rooster Siracha anymore .. bummer.
The lady was nice and helpful.
I ordered a moco loco, and it was kind of disappointing. It was $14 after taxes for the one egg on a hamburger patty on rice. This is something I make at home easily, but I wanted to try an authentic one, and this was pretty much the same. I've had better ones at other Hawaiian places.
Maybe I just ordered poorly, and their other stuff might be good, but paying $14 for such an average dish that should probably cost like $6-$8 feels like such a rip-off. I won't be coming back.

The food is always great! we love L&L and have no issues with the restaurant
but this time the customer service was terrible! To say the least, clearly the woman who took our order was having a bad day or does not know what customer service is! She didn't say hello even though we said hello to her, she stood there inpatient while we decided what to order she did not say a word! She had an angry expression on her face
took our order my husband paid and said thank you and again she didn't say a word! As we paid she immediately turned her back on us, but forgot to give
us our cups for our drinks, I then asked for the cups, she handed them to me and my husband again, said thank you! And again she didn't care to say, You're welcome and much less to say she was sorry for forgoting to give us the cups,
She was just rude! As a few other customers were leaving one of them said to this woman that she was extremely rude and that being more courteous with the customers would go along way!
As the customer left she proceeded to start talking bad about that customer and trying to justify herself.
Needless to say, we will not be going back to this place. It's very unfortunate because we love this place and as paying customers we deserve to be treated with respect and great customer service
This is the L & L in Carson on Albertoni and Avalon. Today is 12/22/24 and we were there around 3pm. Don't go to this place if you expect to be treated with kindness and respect.

Great place to get your katsu craving fixed. Honestly a little sticker shocked at the current price for a *mini* plate, but the flavor was as satisfying as always. Sneak over to this spot before or just after regular lunch hour to get in and out quickly.

We decided on trying out this L&L after reading the reviews. I ordered the mixed BBQ plate, & we also got the seafood plate. My meat was bland, fatty & it tasted as if it was warmed up & not cooked fresh. I'm originally from Oahu, Hawaii, so I'm VERY, very familiar with "local" food & how it is supposed to taste, this isn't it. (This isn't "Hawaiian" food. It's local/island grindz) that as a non local, you'd assume it's Hawaiian. The cashier was very friendly! The portions were worth the price, but I was looking/expecting a flavor that just wasn't there. Mahalo nui loa!
