9/19/2024 I ordered the 3 meat combo (chicken link, rib tips & chicken leg quarter) with cabbage greens and mac & cheese. Worst mistake ever. all the meat taste like liquid smoke and it was dry. The greens taste like dirt and the mac & cheese was greasy. They had the nerve to throw in a peach cobbler for my bday. I was to afraid to try it. $54 down the drain.
Chicken seemed a little smush or overcooked and the sides were bland. We got the mac, collard greens, and string beans. And the salmon bites were salty. A little overpriced in my opinion.

I ordered a slab of pork ribs and a half pound of beef brisket. The slab of ribs were terrible. They were so big in length and had no flavor. They actually made my stomach upset. They seemed to be old. How ever tge brisket was very good. I was the only one there and I phoned my order in and was supposed to be ready at 12 noon however it wasn't ready until 12:45. Very disappointed with the food. I don't think I will be coming back.

I really enjoyed it. I felt welcomed there. I'm glad they're not one of the places that just pour the sauce onto the ribs after it's cooked.

Food was good, servings are generous, and was piping hot. My husband got 3 meat plate, he was happy that all his food was cooked well. I got catfish plate, definitely large serving of catfish. The food was also well seasoned and there was regular hot sauce with salt and pepper at the table. Our favorite sides were the beans and collards. The mac n cheese and coleslaw were okay. Our server was really nice.

?? ALABAMA, UNITED STATES (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - The name of the game in Alabama barbecue is smoked pork. While not a highly recognized style in the United States especially compared with Texas, if you have ever been to Lannie’s in Selma for one of their pulled pork sandwiches, you know not to take it lightly. This fact makes the back page Alabama burger really pop off the menu. This behemoth of stacked meat combines an angus beef patty with thick slices of bacon and a pile of that pulled pork. All three meats are pleasantly full of smoke and the addition of the house spicy and slightly sweet sauce is perfect.
On your first visit, especially if stomach space is limited, stick to the smoked pork offerings on the menu like the pork ribs. These plates come with two side dishes of your choice and even the small is entirely too much food for most humans, just like it should be in Alabama or Texas.
Had the smoked Turkey leg and pork ribs. Seasoned and smoked to perfection. Sides were not to my liking. Definitely earned a repeat visit
