Poke Etc in Carson used to be my favorite poke spot. The portions were always generous — plenty of fish and plenty of rice — and everything tasted great. I honestly didn’t mind the fact that the staff was often not very friendly. Sometimes I even felt a bit guilty showing up after driving 10 miles just to get their poke, but the quality and the portion size always made it worth it.
Recently, I happened to be in the area more often, so I visited a few times instead of just once a month like before. And I started noticing that the amount of rice has decreased significantly. There wasn’t enough rice to match the amount of fish in the bowl.
Today, when the employee was scooping the rice, I asked if she could put the same amount they used to give, explaining that the portion wasn’t enough. Maybe I’m wrong, but it didn’t feel good — she reacted as if I asked her to do something unreasonable. She even threw away the rice that was already in the container and added new rice, but when I opened the bowl, there was much less rice than before, and the amount of fish was almost half of what it used to be.
I’ve been coming to this place for the past three years and always tolerated the unfriendly service because the taste and portion size made up for it. But unfortunately, now I’ll have to look for a new place to get good poke.

so delicious and they do not skimp on the fish. traditional poke so very different than the popular build a bowl places, but do you want to pay for a bunch of random toppings or for tasty fish? tasty fish.

Drove to come and grab some poke and the young lady at the register was not able to sell to me because her scale broke and could not charge me even though I was offering to pay more just to get 1/2 container of poke. Makes no sense that she was not able to figure out how to pivot and work the problem.

Poke Etc is a good choice for poke lovers! The prices are on the lower side, but the quality is definitely on the higher end. The ingredients are always fresh, and there are plenty of ready options to choose from. The service could use some improvement, but overall, it’s still a great place to visit for a satisfying meal.

To be honest I didn't eat any of the entrees that were available. I was there after 230pm before 3pm and they could have cleaned up a bit better. Replace the entrees with fresh. Service was okay, I thi k I interrupted her tv show she was watching. I told her it was my first time here and I was looking. I think that bothered her. Smile was fake. Atmosphere was dingy. Ok...I'm done. Have a great day.

I've only had the poke here, but every time, it has been top-notch. Probably the closest to Poke you can get in Hawaii, in my opinion. I always end out eating it in the car with chopsticks rather than waiting to get home.

I have been coming here for years and have been ordering the same thing every time and will definitely be my last. My order of poke had to sauce no regular ingredients. Quite sad to see the quality go down
