We came here to surprise our son for his 5th birthday. He loved watching the cars on the track while enjoying his lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic! The celebration cake was delicious and we appreciated the birthday gift to our son. He loved it!
Amazing experience. Brought my fiancée for his birthday and he had a blast. Amazing food as well.
My partner and I have been here a handful of times. We are always greeted with top notch service and amazing food!
Beautiful location, nice staff from reception to the restaurant service. But food just wasn't great. Wagyu burger was dry, scallops slightly undercooked with clashing sauce, tuna was ok and only drinks were really nice. Overall interesting experience, we just wish they had a more sophisticated menu.
Initially, I found this place off of TikTok. I did a 2 Hour Dr. with my boyfriend from San Diego to Los Angeles. The food was great. Everything was great. The only thing that threw me off was only being seated for 20 minutes and seeing this couple that was sat in front of us get escorted out not even five minutes after they finished their food a worker came up to them saying I've noticed you're done here let me walk you out something along those lines they got up. He then repeated on the walkie-talkie they're heading out. I watched them the entire time. They were super respectful, etc so I wouldn't know why they got escorted out. We finish our food. We take a little detour of the place taking pictures. We then head out to the front where there is a parked car my boyfriend is taking pictures of me and I'm not even 2 feet from the car when it starts going off my boyfriend noticed that the worker said the car off on purpose to scare Me and said to him she's not touching the car. She knows not to touch the car. He raised his shoulders, saying only my bad, same man that escorted the couple out by the way anyways besides that I had a good time something new for us.
This was my second visit to 917 Restaurant, and unfortunately it didn't live up to my first experience. We were celebrating two birthdays and were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our waiter, Emerson, had great energy and provided friendly service. Drinks and appetizers arrived on time, and although he appeared to be doing double duty as bartender, the drinks were very good. The issue came with our entrées. We ordered the 917 burgers and waited almost an hour. When they arrived, the burgers were cold and the duck fat fries (an upcharge) were only lukewarm, honestly not worth it compared to the regular fries. The manager was apologetic and offered replacements, but the burgers seemed reheated and were cooked to well done instead of medium. A complimentary specialty salad and extra fries were provided, but they didn't make up for the food quality. That said, the staff was consistently kind, and a highlight was learning the chef is a big Star Wars fan after a staff member noticed my Darth Vader purse. I do plan to give the restaurant another try. Everyone has an off day, here's to my next visit in 2026 being amazing, A New Hope.
I got the 917 burger. Can't go wrong with that choice 😎 Nice views to the track and good vibes. This is my second time, which first time I was there I felt a more intimate service and more frequently. This time I felt a longer wait time to get our drinks, orders or frequent check ups. It wasn't as busy, maybe limited time. But it was still a good time!
Easy to check in, awesome ambiance and great food. Our server, I think his name was Alexis, was super nice! He got me a mini birthday dessert as a courtesy and boxed up two Porsche butters to go! Can't wait to go back!
If you’re even thinking about dining at Restaurant 917, stop thinking and just GO. This was hands-down one of the most memorable lunches I’ve had in a long time — everything from the service to the views to the drinks to the food was beyond top tier.
Let me start with Ivan. Ivan was SO amazing from the moment we sat down — warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely elevated the entire experience. He made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. Hospitality done right.
The views are next level. You’re literally overlooking the Porsche Experience Center, watching the “boys” zip around in their toys while you sip a perfectly crafted cocktail. It’s soothing, fascinating, and honestly a vibe.
Speaking of cocktails… the 917 Old Fashioned is silky. Truly one of the most balanced Old Fashioneds I’ve had — smooth, aromatic, expertly made. A perfect pre-meal moment.
The 917 Burger is iconic for a reason: juicy, flavorful, beautifully built, and the bacon? Unreal. The bone marrow appetizer was rich, buttery, and decadent without being heavy — exactly how bone marrow should be done.
And then came the poached Asian pear with burnt rice ice cream, which should honestly have its own fan club. Light, elegant, and the kind of dessert you remember long after the plates are cleared.
From start to finish, everything was flawless. Restaurant 917 is luxury dining with heart — exceptional food, incredible drinks, breathtaking views, and service that sets the standard. Easily a 5-star experience.

The view alone is worth mentioning. You sit there watching Porsches being pushed on the track while you eat, which is a pretty crazy backdrop for a lunch date. They started us off with these little pretzel style French baguettes and Porsche shaped butter that honestly looked too cool to cut into. The bread had a great crunch and the butter was perfect.
I played it safe and ordered the 917 burger. It is their eight ounce Wagyu burger and I am really glad I went with it. Cooked perfectly medium rare, super juicy, great garlic aioli, thick bacon, onions, gruyere, and a really solid bun. One of the better burgers I have had in a while. I upgraded to the truffle fries which tasted like regular fries. Good fries, but definitely not truffle forward at all, so that was disappointing.
My wife ordered the pan seared salmon. It was cooked perfectly and tasted good, but nothing special or memorable for a forty five dollar entree. More of a solid dish rather than an impressive dish.
Service was great and everyone was super friendly. The setting is honestly the star of the show. You are really paying for the experience and the atmosphere. Overall I would go back for the burger and the vibes, but I think some of the dishes could be better for the price. The burger hit. The fries missed. The salmon sat somewhere in the middle. Still would recommend to check out the cars!

Restaurant 917 located at Porsche in Carson. Great experience and didn't expect it to be so packed during lunch on a weekday. Overall, zero complaints on the entire experience.

I love me a dinner (lunch) & a show! Thank you for accommodating us with the window seat as requested! So glad a spot opened up, I've been wanting to take my bf here. We had their wagyu 917 burger with their duck fat fries upgrade, salmon with risotto, and roasted carrots. Although their roasted carrots were a bit too oily, it was still really good. A medium done on the wagyu burger - so juicy and tasty! Not dry at all. Their salmon was okay (could've used a little more seasoning or some lemo zest) but the risotto under was great, needed more of it! Their Porsche-shaped butter along with the warm pretzel sticks was okay, it was a cute presentation though (just not a pretzel bread girly). Their staff was very accommodating and always checked up on you. And you can't go wrong with watching the cars just drive around the tracks and drifting while you eat. Definitely recommend!
It's always a great experience when we go for our anniversary since my husband loves his Porsche cars along with the amazing food, and excellent service.
ALWAYS exceptional, beautifully presented, creative cuisine! A FANTASTIC wait staff and hosts, and great ambiance! Thank you one and all for always making lunch an incredible event!
Great Server! Great food! Overall super clean and amazing view of the cars. Would definitely come here again!
