Plain blue berry cake donut: got it fresh today and it was fluffy and moist with a crunchy outer layer. Other shops usually have a very dense doughy and sometimes drier texture.
Glaze (yeast) donut: most shops glaze donuts are hollow, but this shop has denser, fluffier dough that is dipped in a different glaze that is somewhat difficult to describe; it's like vanilla bean rather than plain old vanilla?
This place is definitely worth a try and perhaps will be your next regular spot. The only downside is that it is cash only.

Me and my dad used to come here a lot and this place is honestly important to me , now it's only me and my mom who stop by time to time to get our fix , their croissant sandwiches are KILLER especially with jalapeños , they're cheap and very filling definitely worth $7 unlike bigger coffee spots like Starbucks , spend your money where you know it'll benefit the family ! The service is very nice , they treat you kindly and they're very patient ! ?
