I visited Teofilo’s Coffee Shop for the first time and tried Filipino coffee — and wow, it was really good! I ordered the Ube Latte, and it was my first time trying anything ube-flavored. The drink was smooth, creamy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. Definitely something unique and worth trying.
The shop has a great vibe, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to try something different, I highly recommend stopping by and getting the Ube Latte. I’m glad I tried Filipino coffee for the first time here — it did not disappoint!

Fun Filipino cafe. They have fun menu items. The coffee was nice. Little disappointed by the pandesal, but it was only a dollar so I can't complain too much.

Out of creamer, coffee tasted bitter. I've had better espresso pulls with my espresso machine at home.

The café that used to be called Green Door has now changed its name to Teofilo Coffee. The place is still spacious with plenty of seating and a great parking lot one of the main reasons I’ve always loved coming here.
Since the name change, it seems to have shifted to a Filipino-style coffee concept. The interior has been slightly remodeled, but I personally preferred the previous design it felt more elegant and refined.
I studied here for quite a while today, and the chairs were comfortable, which I really appreciated. The staff were also very friendly.
However, I tried a Filipino-style coconut-flavored latte, and I think that was a bit of a miss for me it was overly sweet and lacked the sophisticated taste I was hoping for. Of course, I haven’t tried all their drinks yet, so I want to be fair about that.
Overall, it’s still a nice spot, but there are a few small things that feel a bit disappointing compared to before.

Hello 🌸,
I’ve been popping into this spot a lot lately (at all different times of the day) and it always makes me happy! The staff are super sweet WELCOMING and the vibe is just right—perfect for studying, working, catching up with friends, or even a cozy little coffee date. Lots of seating, plenty of outlets, and free Wi-Fi… what more could you ask for? ✨
I’m also obsessed with the new fridge full of grab-and-go goodies—those breakfast burritos and the cheese + ube ensaymadas are sooo good! 🥰 I’ve tried almost every drink on the menu (guilty lol), and I get excited every time they add something new. And don’t get me started on the croissants—they’re my fave, and yes, I’ve tried them all. 🥐💕
This place is definitely a must-try if you haven’t been yet. Bonus: free parking in the back 🙌
P.S. A cute little mirror in the restroom would make my day—just saying hehe 💕

Totally love Teofilo Coffee! I had been going to the original location in Los Alamitos that has since closed down. Now that they're in Carson in a bigger and more spacious place I make it a point to visit regularly. The best Filipino coffee especially the Barako one. My organization held its first event yesterday and it was a great success. The owner, management and staff are awesome and of course the coffee and snacks. I hope they open one up in Orange County.

I had their espresso. It was excellent. They seem to have good beans and baristas who know dial in good flavor. I seek out independent coffee shops, this one does not disappoint. I will be back. Only suggestion is to get some reusable/washable cups for those that stay to work in the large space. Skip Starbucks and give them a try. They support Filipino coffee farmers. I will be trying some of their teas or their drip coffee next time.
Cheers

Space is great with plenty of parking in the structure. Service is always friendly and nice. Currently really loving the Mango Dream which is a hibiscus tea with a mango cold foam it’s so refreshing ans tasty for summer and reminds me of a Yakult. Haven’t had anything like it! Please keep it on the menu through fall! It is sooo good! Also love the selection of dairy alternatives.

Love this place. It’s spacious yet still cozy. Great drinks and baked good. They have some Filipino food now. Friendly staff. I drive from the LBC to support this coffee shop.
