It is not how it used to be. Tried to call to order during normal business hours, but the line was busy from 11-1230. I went there and owner said he intentionally did not set the phone. The servings are smaller now for dinner entrees and quality is not the same compared to 10- 20 years ago. The restaurant needs a little perking up. You can tell it has not been renovated in a while.

This is no longer the same like before. Not sure how many nee management took over this place. But it gets worst and worst. It used to be giving a great service. Food are no longer the same the way they present. Same taste though. Sad.....I use to live this place. Sorry but might as well close this place.

Food was decent. Fast and efficient service. The dining room is a little outdated could use a little bit of an update but it's alright small booths of 4.

I have tried Thai Original BBQ at other locations but this was my first time trying the Carson location. I came during my lunch hour on a Monday and it wasn't crowded so I was seated right away. There was 1 lady working the floor but she was very nice and would stop by frequently to check up. I ordered a beef satay appetizer and for entree I opted for the Ruby Cornish hen. The satay was very flavorful and surprisingly one of the better satays I've had. The beef had a nice char on it with complimented to dipping sauces well. The Ruby Cornish hen was delicious and fired perfect, the texture was more of a tempura type batter. Given the proximity to my office and the fact that everything was super fast to arrive I definitely see myself stopping by again in the future.

I would recommend this food place for kids who normally eat soup or noddles. They were nice about refills, and had a polite and good manner.

I've been going to thus place sonce they opened in the 90s. the flavor is still good, but the amount of beef on the sate stick (s8) was than half the stick. it used to be the while stick! for Almont $20 it should be the whole stick! if it wasn't for that I'd give it 4 stars, but i gave it 3 for old times sake.

A staple in Carson! Been coming here for years and now that I don't live in CA anymore, this is a must when I come back home! I will say, food can be hit or miss in terms of flavor, but still good nonetheless. Never really eat dine in so can't say much about service or ambiance. Go to orders - Beef pad see ew s-1 BBQ Chicken S-2 pork BBQ S-7 dearest crab extra crispy!!! Also have to get an extra cucumber salad!!!

Can't say about the service but this was the worst Thai BBQ I've ever had. I usually go to the one on 7th Street in Long Beach or Carson. First time trying this location looking for Honey Duck which few locations have. I ordered it to go. The duck was undercooked and completely sauce less. My rice had absolutely no flavor. I had to put my duck in the air fryer to finish cooking it. This was the worst Thai BBQ I've ever been to and I will not be coming back.

They've fallen the F off The S8 satay skewers meat used to be one of the go tos They shorted on the amount of meat, I get that supply chains and all that. They should let it be known instead of just letting customers be disappointed. A lot of the other reviews reflect this. STAY AWAY

The food used to be better, the sate beef used to be more tender and it's chewy now! The portion is getting smaller. The service is still good! I still come here once in awhile but not that often!

I have been going at 30 years, I didn't like the idea when you order food, they make you pay 50 cent for the barbecue sauce. Now they make you pay $1 for each sauce, when you asked for more barbecue sauce. I told the waitress I will not come back there no more. She says new owner. I told her please tell him. And their carpet is nasty!

I ordered the lunch special for the thai original bbq, this is what the chicken lookedlike when i opened it. It's disappointing. The other chicken tasted old too, i called in to pick up my order thinking it was fresh but this is what I got.

Easily one of the worst restaurants that I've dined at in a very very long time!! I ordered the Thai salad and received a hot noodle dish with mushy shrimp, big onions and mushy tomatoes!! I pointed out to the waitress that I ordered a salad and even verified that it was a salad by asking what kind of lettuce was used and everything!! But I somehow got something else?? When i say she was mad that i sent it back!! If there's one thing that I can not stand!!! Is when we're all speaking English and to have the two ladies start yelling, gesturing, and pointing towards me speaking in another language!! I mean you're clearly talking Shit and at least if you're gonna do that give me the common curtesy to understand so that I can respond! We also ordered a mushroom and broccoli dish that looked old and disgusting! I mean broccoli has obviously gotten old if it's starting to turn yellow!! I didn't eat one thing from this place!! My friend who chose to eat there ordered the Thai BBq chicken and it came out ice cold with crunchy pinkish fried rice!! When she complained, they took it to the back and obviously microwaved it then brought it back smh!! She ate her food and I went somewhere else to eat! Oh and also to note, I don't know how they stay open because the place is a dump- and looked closed and deserted when we arrived!!

I'm glad they have cleaned this place up. Much nicer now. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. I would give them 5 stars but I don't understand the need to charge me a dollar for an extra peanut sauce for my beef sautae. I would definitly come back
