I tried barons meats today in cv bought a special tri tip marinated was a little expensive but wow what a difference from other shops best i ever cooked seared both sides cooked until 140 let it rest was full of flavor and tender bought pork sausage but haven't cooked it yet but I bet it is also wonderful I'm a fan and a customer now thanks keep up the good work guys.ron r
The crew in Castro Valley is top notch. These guys go above and beyond with customer service and take pride in what they do. They quality of the protiens speak for themselves. I use to be a Whole Foods guy until I discovered this gem of a butcher shop. They will continue to get my hard earned money from here on out. Don't hesitate to look these guys up, you won't regret it

I have tried the chicken sausage brought by Kimmy. It tastes so good that it is well cooked and can be eaten as breakfast. Thank you all Ms. Mosbaugh.

Great service! The young lady who was working at the beef section was very helpful in recommending a good cut of meat and helping us select the best steaks. Nice cuts of meat for ny strip!

Came here a Sunday morning to try out a couple of meats. I was the only one in line and was waiting to get helped. There was a lady behind the counter staring at me and not saying anything. Another woman walked up and the lady working behind the counter decided to help her instead even though I had been waiting. Eventually I got helped by a nice man but I don’t think I’ll be returning due to the lack of customer service from the woman.
Always excellent freshest meat, poultry and fish! Their in-house made marinades and sausages are so delicious too. And all the staff is super helpful and nice.
