2 stars because the cake in the box oreo and cookie dough edition tasted pretty good. I highly recommend eating it asap because I ate some left overs ice cream cake the week after and it tasted really bland and not good at all.
I should give this place 1 star but 2 will do. I called the morning of to see if they had the Oreo cake in the box in stock. The girl I spoke to said, yes we have 1 left. I said okay, thanks, I'll stop by tonight in the evening to pick it up. The girl said, we can hold it for you if you like. I said that would be great. I gave her my name and she said she'll put it on hold for me.
I went in that evening and the two girls that were working said no cake in the box was on hold for anyone under my name. Whoever the girl was didn't put it on hold for me. I was lucky enough to get the cake in the box because they had one left. I was with my two younger kids at the time and I imagined how upset and devastated they would've been if the ice cream cake wasn't available because someone forgot or just didn't care about putting it on hold for me even though they offered to. This might not seem like a big deal to some but it's the principle behind it. This is why small businesses fail and people stop going to places like this because the people working their just don't care or take any pride in their job duties.
I won't be coming back nor do I recommend this Baskins Robin's to anyone.

Not such a friendly experience for myself and grandkids. We walked in on Memorial Day, no greeting, no how may I help you nothing. So I had to say hello then the two young ladie's became attentive. Any customer should be greeted with a hello and how may I help you. I could have went to another place to spend my money but I chose this location.

It's the first time we visited this store. We bought a cake home. When we got home and opened the box and the cake smelled and tasted like a bathroom cleaner. Would not buy anything from this store again.

Came in an hour before closing and the staff is clearly in high school based on their attitude and complete lack of customer service. Being young is not an excuse to be rude and act annoyed. They are old enough to be able to act professionally. We came in and the staff was happily chatting to each other but seemed annoyed bc they had customers and had to serve us. Sorry we ruined ur fun? lol. The girl who served me gave me attitude when I told her my order and just seemed very irritated for no reason. She also gave me ice cream that was melted and as a result is not worth how expensive it was.

Not a welcoming place too often and the kid tonite was not only cold but bothered by a scoop he let hit the ice on the side in the freezer. Was asked for another scoop, politely by me, and he was bothered. He was sloppy and didn’t care what he gave us. I won’t be coming back to this one anymore. Managers really need to teach some customer service and just being polite and saying hi to people coming in.

Zero Star. I came here about 1 hr and half before closing time. The second employee heard me talking to my son about him wanting a Chocolate Milk Shake so she turned off the milkshake machine right away and giggled. Told the person who was helping us that nope milkshake is close for the night. I had worked for Baskin Robbins for years and I was taught not to close down anything till all customers are gone out the door. My experience at Castro Valley, Ca Baskin Robbins is not great.

I went to buy a ice cream in waffle bowl when I finished the ice cream start eating the waffle and it tasted of the stinky liquid with which they clean the place, it disgusted me so much if you go, don't give it to your children without first trying it, it's disgusting. I can’t eat it. my mouth was left with the taste of the chemical

DO NOT GO HERE every time I go something goes wrong whether it the careless staff dropping the oce cream or this time when I asked for a SEPERATE BOWL SPECIFICLY SEPERATE FROM THE ICE CREAM they get the bowl SHOVE THE ICE CREAM IN TO THE POINT WHERE IT FITS THE BOWL THAN GIVE IT TO ME something always goes wrong here dont go find a dif one
