They will let you have your burger rare and that is how ours came The patty is pretty thin but it was good They have lots of ideas for fixings-- various cheeses toppings dressings etc Chicken sandwich did the job. The salad was surprisingly ok. Lots of stuff on it. It's still a bottled dressjng but that's ok for this kind of place and I don't know if better salads in castro valley ( sad but true) It would be nice if the cashier knew what dressings are recommended for what salads. I’ve visited this place a few times over the years and they are not worth the price. They cheat you out of good portioning especially for the price that you’re paying for this food. If you want a good burger, you’d be better off going to The Habit or In N Out!

Love the place! Love The vibe and customer service. The food was exceptional and they served premium meats (antibiotics free). They have a lot of Adds-on that can make it even more tastier.

I enjoy a Boulevard Burger every once in a while but today they made me mad. Today I noticed a sign that says they charge an extra 3% if you use your credit or debit card. So I paid with cash. What made me mad was my change of $8.93 was given to with a roll of nickels, 3 $1 bills 15 quarters and some other change. Really!!! If you want people to pay cash, have appropriate cash to make change!

We came here on a weeknight and were not greeted when we walked in. We ordered the bbq bacon burger with a black bean patty with garlic fries and a chili dog with curly fries. With two drinks on top of that and some tip, we ended up paying almost $50. We were pretty shocked at how expensive the meal was for a couple of burgers. My partner said that the chili on the hot dog lacked flavor though the fried jalapeños were different. I can say the same about my black bean burger. The bun wasn't really toasted and it was still lukewarm, and the black bean patty fell apart upon eating it, so I was surprised that this place specializes in burgers. The garlic fries were good, but since we were not particularly impressed by the burger and hot dog, I'm not sure I would be back.

I was in Castro Valley and wanted lunch. Boulevard Burger fit the bill and did not disappoint. What makes this place great? First of all, the restaurant sign is an Orange VW Beetle, how cool is that? The interior is nice and comfortable too. At the counter is a real burger chef. My turkey burger was fabulous, juicy and flavorful. The fry's were curly. The shakes, oh my! My kid had strawberry and I had mocha with cream, they were deluxe, bonus, and out of this world! Best part, the next day the teenager said-- you know, I'm still thinking about that tuna melt. Go here for quality, authentic experience, order what you want, and enjoy your time! !

When I went the very first time they had really fast service and my burger was hot and everything and was perfect but when I came to second time with my girlfriend it took 20 to 30 minutes to get my food and my food was cold and I didn't want to wait again so I just ate

The employees were very kind, and didn't even usher us out when we mistakenly stayed past closing.Vegetarian options: They have a black bean patty as well as Beyond Burgers.Parking: Parking can get tight on weekends but is usually fine. And any other time there's typically plenty.

The burger was far less than satisfactory. But what was worse was the place is absolutely filthy. The only cleaning that has been done since the place is open is what a wet mop might hit to give it a quick once over. You look at the feet of the cabinets and see that they have never been cleaned. you're afraid to touch the chairs because you know that they've not been cleaned in years. Find another place to go eat. I'll never be back here.
