Rumi is as good as it gets around here. Coffees are great and the food is great. My family lives coming here too. I brought my cousins here and they loved it as well. My kids love the smoothies. Smaller place, but all of the patrons are deep in their converatiin and enjoying their time at Cafe Rumi. I hope to come here for years to come.

A hidden treasure in Castro Valley!Cafe Rumi is a wonderful little spot with a charming and harmonious atmosphere. Arrived expecting a 'typical' cafe, and instead I stepped into a dream world. The Moroccan Mint tea is AMAZING, the seating adds to the charm, and the music playing in the background is out of a fantasy. I wish this was closer to where I live; I would come here every day!

If you want a great gyro, then this is the place to go! Seems like a nice little spot but we've always gotten the food to go. They have a pretty extensive menu however I have only had their lamb gyro which is delicious and very filling!
