Tried this place out cos we were in the plaza and a quick google said this place has 4 stars. We ordered a burrito, a taco salad and a tamales plate. The $14 al pastor burrito was 3/4 beans. My husband said it's the most unsatisfying burrito ever. My $16 taco "salad" did not come in a tortilla chip bowl. It was on a heaping plate of rice and beans and had a small handful serving of lettuce on the side and a tiny portion of meat as topping. It's honestly not a salad but a burrito bowl. The $8 single tamales plate was okay. My 2yo and I ate there. It was empty so I let her walk around so I can entertain her while eating. She was very curious and kept asking me what the kiosk was. The staff kept telling her not to touch it. She couldn't even reach the screen, so she was just curious at the camera on the bottom. Because I didn't want a meltdown, I held her hand to gently brush the camera. Staff said "don't let her touch it, she's not supposed to touch it, it's not a toy". I understand telling a kid that but I'm an adult. I will not break your kiosk and I was teaching my child how to gently handle it. please have some compassion for a curious kid. We ended up leaving mid-meal. Never again.

The food is great. The service is amazing and they are quick. The place is calm and small but good ambiance. Come and try it. We got tamales and quesadillas. Yummy!!

Food quality was not worth the price. I went during the later hours, and the food served to us was not fresh - I heard the microwave being used to reheat the ingredients up. I’m sure that this place serves good food during earlier hours, but during the later half of the day - do not expect your food to be of more than average quality.

The only thing better than the food is the greeting you receive from George when you walk through the door. If you desire authentic food from a true taqueria Crazy George’s is the place to go!

Unauthentic to its core. The beans taste very salty and like they were from a can. The rice tasted like instant Minute Rice that I would heat up in the microwave. The shrimp was breaded and was obviously Frozen. The guy told me the shrimp were breaded in advance but I somehow thought it would have been at least something that was made in house. Not worth the cost. The service was fine but the food is definitely not worth the cost. We also ordered nachos too, which were no better than Taco Bells. I wanted to support this business because they're within blocks from my home but this place is one and done. Complete waste of 60 bucks & Completely overpriced with zero value.

Quick and friendly experience! George hooked us up with a great meal and offered alternative options that met dietary restrictions for some of the people in our party. The tech he uses for his restaurant offers convenient ordering abilities like online app, in store kiosk, or directly at the counter. One of the people in our group wanted enchiladas but decided to go with the burrito bowl and George was kind to offer enchilada salsa on the side so they didn’t miss out on the flavor they’d been craving.Looking forward to coming back!Dietary restrictions: Crazy George’s frijoles aren’t made with pork which is great to know.

My wife and I went there on the second day while we were in Tulum. We received a complimentary shrimp soup, which was delicious. We ordered a few fish tacos and fish quesadillas, and they were amazing. If you're craving good fish tacos, this is your place. Furthermore, the sauces are really good as well. The server speaks both English and Spanish - an added advantage.Highly recommend

It is not clean in here. The restaurant is empty yet every single table is dirty and I’m floating around to see which doesn’t have stuff on the seat or sticky stuff on the tables. The server brought out my food & silverware in between sweeping the floors. No handwashing.Absolutely disgusting. I wanted to like this place a lot, after wandering through the area. Won’t be back. Unfortunately already ordered it as dine in and don’t feel like walking with food.

Great little hole in the wall to get a quick bite to eat.Special shout out to their salsas. Most tacquerias' salsas are pretty much an after thought. Here, the habanero, roasted tomatillo and jalapeno verde salsas are super flavorful.

These were really good! We were attending a service at a business nearby and due to an unexpected scheduling issue there were a number of hungry people waiting around so we took a chance and picked up 20 tacos nearby. We got a few varieties, including carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor and everyone thought they were good and devoured them quickly. Their green salsa was also really fresh and tasty and their chips were fine but not my favorite. Would definitely recommend trying the tacos!
