Hands down one of my favorite places to eat! I have such fond memories of coming here with my buddies. We all very large appetites so when I noticed the menus have such big portion sizes and so many pictures I was excited. But as the skeptic I am, I reserved my judgement seeing as most restaurant menus make the food seem bigger and nicer than it is. Not so with El Rancho! The portion sizes were even BIGGER than on the menu, and very reasonably priced. I also noted that the staff was very kind and professional and one time when I had the munchies they let me order breakfast 3 times in a row lol. Love this place, great for friends, family, and just a fine dining experience in general.

Wow i been eating here for years. I have been getting the steak and lobster for years what ya go crazy i use to pay $30 than you went up 10. Now its $78 dollars you crazy. I run a business also i didn't raise my prices to my clients or new bookings Guess you just lost 2 more. Ashamed disappointed .

I love the steak and popcorn shrimp special. The steak is always nicely seasoned and very tender. Since we had a takeout order, I was very surprised at how much popcorn shrimp they provided - it was a huge amount! And the vegetables were seasoned nicely and not overcooked. I hate slimy vegetables!

This place has gone really downhill!The food is disgusting, we got food today and the oil alone was so old, made the food taste even more rancid!!****** beware this place has roaches too, we saw them and they clearly dont care about food health safety and sanitation *****

This is the location that me and my family goes to. I love how friendly the team here is and how they mix in their Latin flavors to make awesome breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. For those using Doordarsh, UberEats and these other food delivery services please expect your food to be a little on the not hot side as these service providers deliver to more than one location.

Got a salad to go and this is what I got. Veggies look rotten and blue cheese doesn't look right. Had to throw away. They also left out another one of our orders. Never again!

I started doing grub hub about a year or so, the first time I picked up the food at this restaurant,the manager with a attitude looked at me and told me why are u here grub hub is over there and u pick it up yourself with a attitude I let it go and got my order and left, since then I have picked up 3 orders from them and he always has a attitude and treats me with no respect whatsoever. Today I picked up an order, as mostly all restaurants I have picked up you called the rest. And they will meet you outside with the order. I notice the big doors were open n he was sitting right in front and was on his laptop I told him I was from grub hub with my mask on and I was picking up a order for certain person he looked at me and told me go get it I'm not getting it for you. I asked him nicely why was he always rude when I asked him a question, his response was if you don't fucken like it don't come back he said was the manager and there was no one I can complain about him, I said who's your boss, all of a sudden he was the boss, he told me next time I had a pick up he was going to refuse to give it to me n to never step on his business again. No one should ever be treated this way, a business runs on customers. If this is the attitude he gives this business won't last on times like this. I called grub hub and made a complain and told them I won't be picking up food from them anymore if he is there . When he told me get the f*** out of my business and don't ever come back it was enough for me. I feel bad for the owner. He is probably unaware.

Great service, fresh good, best for breakfasts. We've had everything and it's all good. I mostly like the loaded omelettes and the sampler breakfast. Good coffee, lots of creamer choices! Solid breakfasts. Yelp pics tell the story. Clean, no complaints.

My first visit was on Mother’s Day years ago at the former location in Hayward. No wait and fabulous food. We had T-bone steaks with baked potato and grilled vegetables. This place has been our best kept secret ever since. Never a wait.
Decent prices, large portions. There is a woman who is always working when I go and she is amazing. Friendly, attentive. Wish I could remember her name.

My husband started taking me to El Rancho a few years ago. We loved the food and always looked forward to having a great meal.On lazy Sunday mornings, we decided to use Doordash to have our breakfast delivered. Today was the second time that they have forgotten parts of our order. Last time it was bacon, which we were charged $3.00 and didn't get. Today, there was no toast or tortillas with our order. Other than the diner-like atmosphere, this is one of the best locations for affordable steak dining. This place should be a lot busier considering the food and the prices. Great place for a steak dinner without breaking the bank. Also offers diner fare and some Mexican food of course. Easily a better option than typical steakhouse chains.

I ordered the chicken and mushrooms. The chicken was inedible. It was so over cooked and tough that I could not eat it. The vegetables were less than stellar and the baked potato was the only thing that I semi enjoyed. The bread was good.
