I called to order food this evening at 5:00 pm, the order was stirred fry bitters melon and chicken. Because of my stomach issues I mentioned that no spicy, the lady didn’t respond the request, then I mentioned again and again about 5 - 6 times of the request in Cantonese.

However, they still gave me the spicy 🌶️ stir fry chicken and bitter melon.

Very bad service, so disappointed, ☹️ I wish I could give them 0 star. I hope the owner will follow up.

It used to be a good place. They jacked up price more than 2x since COVID that it’s not worth it anymore.

Your basic place so we tried some basic dishes. Broccoli chicken over rice and there was braised pork over rice.
Sorry for the picture.

The OG of Hong Kong comfort food. The best mix of barbecue and Hong Kong's style home cooking. You have to try the roast duck, the plate rice comes in a big serving. Everything is fresh and piping hot.

Fast and friendly service and insanely delicious food. I ordered the Szechuan duck and it completely exceeded expectations.

I've been the 3 times, the 1st time i had beef and broccoli, but they need to change the name to broccoli with a little beef over an excessive amount of rice. The 2 other times I had kung pao chicken looked good and tasted good but excessive rice. The last time there i had the kung pao chicken. I did look the same 2 pieces of bell pepper couple pieces of carrots and little corn with half an onion that were cut 3/8th thick over an excessive amount of rice.

We decided to try this place without expecting any issues, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. After receiving our food, we kindly asked the gentleman handing it to us if we could get four additional mini chili oils. He kept giving us just one, and when we asked again, he told us it was $1 each. We couldn’t believe it—especially after spending $72 on food and only receiving three mini chili oils. It’s frustrating because when you dine in, you get unlimited Sriracha and chili oil. It’s confusing why this would be such a
hassle for takeout, especially when we’re Mexicans who love spicy food. Definitely won’t be returning after this experience.

We ordered the shrimp fried rice, and while it tasted good, it didn’t come cooked with soy sauce like we expected. A heads-up would’ve been nice. The spicy orange chicken wasn’t spicy at all—more like BBQ sauce than anything. The 1lb of pork we got was way too salty. The shrimp chow mein was alright, but nothing special. Overall, a bit of a letdown.

Very clean and cozy place for Hong Kong style Cantonese food. The barbecue pork (cha siu) and Grilled Duck are the best - recommended.

Parking: It’s in the plaza, behind the entrance.

This is an amazing find in Castro Valley! We went there because we needed a place to have lunch. We were surprised with not only an amazing selection, but extremely welcoming, owner and servers, and the food! The food was incredible. They do not cater to American taste. This is the real thing. The vegetables with tofu sauce were incredible as was the pork and everything else we had the dessert of tofu with mantis or ginger is a must. Highly recommend!!

Food was mediocre. Rice and chow mien were flavorless. They don’t offer a family dinner combo, everything is a la cart. Overpriced for what we got. The sauce for the egg rolls spilled all over the box. The egg rolls had way too much pepper in them. I don’t think I would come back here.
