Extremely disappointed!! According to their website (see screenshot), catering is available a couple hours before the requested time. I called the Castro Valley Nick the Greek, and I requested the catering order for the NEXT day. It was the Athenian order so it wasn’t too big of an order! The lady that I talked to on the phone tonight said that would be impossible and that they needed at least 24 hours notice. I was really surprised because per their website it says two hours before and I was calling a day ahead. I thought that this was totally bad business and mind you, my feeling was that the lady just didn’t want to deal with it. I really did feel like this was bad business.

Sooo good, very fresh, good flavor! I love this chain. The quality has been good at several different locations I've also gone to.

Fries were ancient and hard. Like pretzel hard. Gyros were mediocre.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was standing there for over an hour and a half waiting for my single chicken souvlaki entrée. They decided to finish 150 DoorDash orders before getting to my food, then of course they tell me they ran out of chicken. Whatever. I said that’s fine I’ll just get some pork souvlaki instead. After that they made me wait another hour before telling me my food was ready. Once I start eating I find out the rice is hard and uncooked. The salad had no dressing. I’m not coming here again. My back is killing me from waiting so long.

$14 for one pita and no sides completely drowned in a mayonnaise based mustard sauce. Hand sanitizer dispenser was empty and bathroom was out of service. Left disappointed and hungry

I get nick the greek at various locations, about 3-4 times per week. This was my first and last time at this location.

I got the beef/lamb plate, the meat was served cold and cut thick like slabs of sausage moreso than gyro. The sauce was served half empty and they tried to charge me extra when I asked to get one of their spicy sauces. Maybe I showed up on an off day but still, ive been to 10 different locations and this was by far the worst.

First time trying this location. Honestly the food was cold and the chicken gyro didn’t taste the same as other locations, it was smelly!

I would go another time to make a decision on whether was a bad day for the team or it’s always like that.

Servers were not professional, were not smiling, were yelling across the register to welcome customers.

Always a good experience at Nick the Greek. Greek food served in a fast food setting but the items are made to order. Can’t beat it. Happy they came to Castro valley
