I’ve been eating at Ono since I was kid so I can definitely say that the price has risen for some things and for others not so much. I appreciate the portion sizes; I AM NOT starving after eating here! Carry at least $25 with you though.

My husband orders to go from this location frequently. A few nights ago, he came home with the (usual) Hawaiian BBQ plate. It was a total disappointment and a huge fail. This isn't the first time. It is frustrating when restaurants charge quite a bit extra for a kalbi short rib and give you something inedible. I told my husband no more since this has happened three times. Their beef was literally scraps too. It was gross. I remember when I worked in a Korean bbq restaurant back in the day and that would be automatically added to the plate and I'd let the customer know. They'd always appreciate the extra ribs and meat and believe me we would give them more than one extra. I know times have changed drastically since then; but, this was unacceptable.

Great place to get chicken and rice. There are many different options.

First time I tried it, it was good. So sometimes I just go and get anything I want.

Came here with a coupon for a half-priced lunch plate. I ordered the "fire chicken lunch plate" with a drink (as per the coupon). It came with two-scoops of steamed rice and one-scoop of macaroni salad. Great amount of food for the couponed-price but not as good a value without the coupon (price was just under $11, with tax). $7.00 more, without the coupon. Food was excellent, as the fire chicken was mildly hot and spicy. The bed of veggies (broccoli and cabbage) was fresh/crunchy. Mac salad was good and the steamed rice was perfectly made. The iced-tea was from a spigot-mix and was awful. The spigot it came out of dispensed more water than tea (so, the IT tasted more like water and less like tea). Cashier was indifferent but courteous. The eating area felt more like a cafeteria but I think they are going for that indoor "Hawaiian feel" (they had outdoor seats too). Pricey choice for CV but food was solid/excellent.

Been going here for a while now and decided to finally review it. I usually get the chicken katsu here, but this time I decided to get the kalua combo. It comes with kalua pork and chicken katsu. The pork was fine and no issues but the chicken katsu was a little over fried. Each bite felt hard, but still good. I also ordered the spam masubi and those came out ok as well. The service was good. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and took my order without any issues. The place itself is ok. Some tables were clean and some tables had crumbs of previous costumer's food. The sauce bar was a little dirty from spilled sauce, but I don't blame them because the way you dispense the sauce can be tricky. Overall, I like this place and would come back again. 3 out of 5 stars

Young tall employee with terrible customer service skills. Also gave me incorrect order. Would not return nor recommend.

When you can't be in Hawaii, just go to Ono Hawaiian Bbq for the food and vibe, we order the family pack, includes teriyaki chicken, beef and kalua pork. We sub rice for more Mac salad. And order the large salad. Good every time!

Came to this location yesterday for the first time. I usually go to the Hayward location. And let me tell you the food here was disgusting i can't even believe it, the chicken was nasty and chewy and the staff at the cashier were talking, saw us came in and still ignored us and continued talking for a few more minutes. The whole thing was bad. Never coming here again!!

It was great lunch. I enjoy bbq chicken and bbq beef combo, but the best part is meats. I wish the cashier could’ve be smiling. I recognize workers sitting at corner and I wonder why they aren’t working.Edit: I took picture after I ate some

Fast food type Hawaiian bbq. Chicken katsu was pounded very thin so hardly any meat!
