This is one of best Vietnamese restaurant in Castro Valley . Food is very fresh authentic flavor. Great service !

I had an exceptional experience at this establishment! While parking was a bit challenging, it was absolutely worth the effort. The food was beyond amazing, and the customer service was top-notch, earning a solid five stars in my book. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

I ordered the lemograce tofu Vermicelli noodles bowl. It was HUGE and was a nice light vegetarian meal. The egg rolls were very crispy and fresh. The lemongrass tofu tasted a tiny bit burned and may not have been worth the extra cost, but since I haven't tasted it plain, I can't know for sure. I'm a little disappointed that the sauce they provide with the bowl is just plain soy sauce. Typically, when I order a vegetarian meal at a vietnamese restaurant, they make a soy sauce based nuoc cham, which I think would have been a better and tastier option. The egg coffee was really good! Sweet, thick, and strong and not commonly found in my opinion Overall a satisfying meal but the cost was HUGE. The meal was over $30 dollars after tax and tip SERVICE Was good! They were attentive and quick! AMBIANCE It is a small and simple interior but has that same ma and pop charm you'd get from other vietnamese restaurants and it was pretty full for a random Monday evening.

Wow, really surprised at how good this place was! Seems we have been eating subpar Pho for too long after visiting here. The strange name put us off for years but please give them a try. We were warmly greeted and taken aback at the nice ambience and excellent, friendly, helpful staff. The food came in the blink of an eye (rare steak Pho) and it was loaded with fresh ingredients and an amazing amount of high quality rare steak. The owner (I think) came by and provided us an excellent serving suggestion for the meat on the side that the wife and I loved. Both bowls of Pho were as good as we have ever had as well as a great value. From start to finish this was as good as it gets and for $33 for two we will be back often. Looking forward to trying other things on the full menu including Banh Mi sandwiches. Give these wonderful people a try and I don't think you will be disappointed!

Wednesday April 24th Took my son for father son lunch at auntie pho 7 and got R3 plate and my chicken was way overcooked like they microwaved it before serving it. Not the best food for father son time.

This is review is solely for their #1 Combination Pho large bowl $18. I had takeout orders from them numerous times but never had their Pho. The broth was so watered down which lacked the beefy flavor, the meats were little in portion but also very paper thin, and the noodles seemed thinner also got soft very quickly for being in the hot broth. I had high hopes for their quality but it was very disappointing. My search for the old school/traditional/authentic Pho continues on. I used to get restaurant leftover pho broth congealed after being refrigerated which shows how the broth was not watered down. It's not the case from this place :(

The food here is really good! I've been here a few times and it feels like the food gets better each time! The service is quick and staff are so friendly. Even when they are really busy! Parking is a little tough at times, as its mainly street parking but they do have a small lot with a few spaces. Definitely recommend!

Delicious pho and you get a TON of food! I've only gotten take out but always 10/10. I love that I always have extra broth so I keep pouring more into my bowl as I eat :). I usually get the vegan and substitute with beef broth (since I'm not actually a vegan or vegetarian). The veggies are so fresh and yummy and the beef broth gives so much depth. Staff are efficient and friendly. Always seems busy with diners when I go in. So happy to see their success. Probably the best place to get dinner in CV in my opinion

First time here and I had the Banh Beo Sampler & the Chicken Salad. Out of the Banh Beo Sampler, I liked the Wet Banh Beo more than the dry one, which is odd because I usually like the dry banh beo more haha, but overall both were good. I also had the chicken salad and it was yummy. I wasn't in the mood for some soup dish, but I will come back to try it cause it did look good! Service was fine. Parking is a bit tight and restaurant is located on a busy street.

We ordered takeout so we can only speak for the food. Flavors were great and portion was generous. I got the chicken salad which was exactly what I was looking for. The pork and shrimp crepe looked good too and came with a ton of veggies to add in. I'd order again from Pho auntie 7

Usually I will not have a Bun Bo Hue before 11:00 am. But I'm so glad I did try this place out as my first meal of the day. Very generously cut and done just right pork feet. Underneath the pork there are loaded beef frank. Again, done just right. The soup is on the lighter side. But once you added the shrimp paste and special chilly, it's just right.

Came here for a quick bite and was not disappointed! My girlfriend and I split the Ha Noi egg coffee, a banh beo sampler, and the banh hoi platter. The egg coffee was nice and strong, nice and tasty, it was almost like drinking a salted coffee. I think with a touch more condensed milk this would be a 10/10! The banh beo sampler was delicious! Especially with the fish sauce and satay chili sauce. I really enjoyed the banh beo in two different flavors, one was with the traditional mung bean and finely minced shrimp topping and the other version I had never tried before, it was saucy and had peanuts on top still very delicious. The banh hoi platter was a really nice as well the woven noodles were still nice and warm, the nem nuong meatball was nice and juicy, and the shrimp cake on the sugar cane was nice and peppery. Let me warn you their sate chili sauce is SPICY! I underestimated it and boy did it pack a punch. I'm pretty sure their bun bo hue is fire considering the satay sauce they carry I can't wait to come back to try more dishes! I'm looking forward to the bbh and the mi quang!

The service is great! I've always been waited on right away. I've had the classic banh mi sandwich and the pho! Both were so good! I've been here at least 4 times and I keep going back so you be the judge!!

We love coming here whenever we are in Castro Valley. They have the best, the tastiest lemongrass tofu I have ever had, and I've had plenty! We also ordered the shrimp spring rolls, so good and refreshing. It's simple and light with a great peanut sauce. If you've never had thai iced tea w/ coconut cream, you are missing out. I'm lactose so I always ask for a milk substitute. Coconut cream is the only substitute they had. The dining area is your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Plenty of tables, they are usually packed. The service is fast, and portions are huge. The staff are always friendly and the bathrooms are clean. We love coming here again and again. A must if you're in the area.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon; it was busy, but I could find a table quickly. I had the rice combination plate, and it was delicious! I really like the chicken. The plate comes with a free broth soup, which was also good. The ambiance of the place is not too bad. It was ok, nothing special. The service is excellent. We never had to ask for refills or extra napkins. Someone is always going around to make sure all the customers are ok. The only downside is that this place is a little pricey. For my combination plate, it was $20. It was delicious, but I'm not sure if it's worth $20. Overall, the place has good food, but a little pricey. Four out of five stars.
