Came here for dinner last night with a family since we were craving Indian food and we were not disappointed! We got the garlic naan, orange fig tikka the butter chicken, and the chicken tikka masala. Everything was deliciously hot and fresh. We were happily surprised. portions were very affordable and Can't wait to come back and try more food!
Came here for the lunch buffet. There were 3 main veg options, 2 non-veg (tandoori chicken and butter chicken), and samosas. All around pretty good. The tandoori chicken was moist and the naan was especially tasty.

We decided to give Phulkari a try over the weekend for takeout. The quality of food was good and we really enjoyed the samosas.However,the portions did not justify the prices. The calamari came with about 10 pieces . Not looking for huge portions, but the amount we spent should have been sufficient to satisfy 4 adult appetites.

Balance spices on the tandoori chicken. The creaminess of the lentil curry and potato/chickpea curry perfect for scooping with eh naan bread. Ordered and enjoy the mango lassi. Don't you just love it when you don't expect much and get so much more...that's what happened to me tonight. Hubby and I stumbled across this gem as we dropped off the kiddos at practice and had 1.5 hours to kill. We didn't know what to expect, didn't even yelp this spot as our dinner was just so random...but what a pleasant surprise as this spot was the best Indian food we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted and got a nice lil window seat. Place had a great vibe, seemed sort of fancy with the nice plates and table settings so I was expecting pricey meals, but the prices were amazingly reasonable. We ordered the chicken tandoori and masala along with the truffle naan. EVERY one of these items were so delicious. Flavor packed but not overwhelming and the tandoori chicken came out in a sizzling skillet with a slight char and sliced onions on the bottom that slowly cooked during the dinner...amazing presentation and the flavor was perfect. Paired with a full bodied Pinot noir...chefs kiss. Without a doubt, we will be back, even the hubby liked it all and he's a picky one. Can't wait to take the kiddos here

I was happy to find an Indian restaurant that offered a weekend buffet ($19.99). The food was good. The restaurant is small but bright, clean, and comfortable. The restroom was well maintained and clean. We'll be back. At first glance, the buffet seemed kind of small, but it had a nice selection of veg and non-veg curries, tandoori chicken, chicken Seekh kebabs, samosas, salad, deserts and chai. My wife and I enjoyed the food although I would have preferred it was a little spicier. The naan was disappointing - mostly just crispy crust without much of a fluffy interior. The service was very attentive. We were sitting near the host stand. Having someone stand silently a few feet away during our entire lunch made my wife and I a little uncomfortable - I would have preferred it if they had sat down at our table and talked to us (or at least stood behind the desk). Next time we won't sit so close to the host stand.

Came here tonight and I have nothing else to say but amazing things! The customer service is the best and every worker I've encountered is so sweet. They always check up on how you're doing and if the food is good for your liking. The food was delicious. We got the cauliflower bezule as an appetizer and it was the best vegetable I've ever had. It is fully vegan, but tasted like shrimp. It had so many textures to it from crunch, creamy, sweet, tangy, and a slight spice. You HAVE to get this when you're here! For mains we ordered butter chicken, tikka chicken masala, garlic naan and rice. Everything tasted amazing and spiced to perfection. If you're in the East Bay Area and want some delicious Indian Food with amazing service, please check this restaurant out!

Liked the buffet a lot--good job! Could definitely tell that new owners took great care in preparation of food and cleanliness of dining room.Loved new calm ambiance. The server was very courteous and kept up with the cleaning and tableware care.Chicken dishes were tasty. Vegetable options were good. I've ordered take out twice now.
