The Habit Burger Grill

I ordered food for myself and a friend of mine wanted ed only a shake. They didn't tell me until after my food was ready that they couldn't make a shake because they were all out. They offerede a refund but that it would take a week for it to process and that if it didn't go back to my bank I had to stop back in. Had I known they couldn't make shakes that day, I would've gone somewhere else. All they could offer my friend was a cup for a free drink.

The Habit's food is always fresh and cooked well. I usually get the same two sandwiches: either the 🐔 club on sourdough or the veggie 🍔 I also got sweet potato 🍟s and tried the really good tempura 🥑 bites! Great service as always, and they stay open fairly late.

The workers are not attentive or kind. Last month I’ve had 6 orders and 3 have been completely wrong, whole items missing or the wrong item given. It’s a coin flip if you’ll get what you ordered, and when they mess up they are rude. Cherry on top the only way to contact them if you’ve had take out be wrong is drive all the way back they have no phone or anything to try to figure out a solution. All in all don’t go to this habit if you can help it.

How can you go wrong with The Habit? The food is always good and the options are unique. Case in point being tempura avocado or green beans. First time at this location and just as good as back home. Santa Barbara Char and tempura green beans are my go-to. Dragon fruit lemonade is refreshing. I mix it with iced tea because I'm obsessed with Arnold Palmers, but you can get it straight up, too. Enjoy!

Rosa is the best! She is friendly and will help make suggestions on what to order. Her coworkers are also fabulous.

My faves are the char burgers with cheese & onion rings.

Pleasant experience with the service and food.

Its good. Sold burger. Though...... the chicken sandwich was kinda sad. It was small and kinda fell apart.

Food there is really cheaply made and always sold at an outrageous price. the burgers are basically chunks of meat sitting on soggy yeast priced way more than it should be. The only reason to go there is if they have a super sale.
