This restaurant is a really good, secret spot with delicious, fresh food. One of the best California birria burritos is available, with red salsa that is perfectly spicy and green sauce with pleasant flavor. The birria sampler with beef and chivo birria is delicious. Hubby requested goat birria for his birthday, and the corn tortillas were the best. A strawberry margarita is made with real strawberries and is surprisingly sophisticated. The birria crunchy taco with consomé is good, and the authentic bean and cheese burrito has really good cheese, nuclear hot and creamy beans, and a flour tortilla that holds its shape. This favorite birrieria is worth the drive from Monterey, with huge plates, piles of food, and great service. It is a good place to bring clients and colleagues. The online order works great; 23 burritos for a high school cross country team were made as requested. You can eat inside or outside. Service was great.
