You simply MUST order some food from Capizzi's. We placed our order ONLINE, and picking the food up was EASY, Beefy, Cheezy, and so good you would think it was made by Saint Francis of Assisi. The employees are SUPER FRIENDLY , and the food was prepared with such great care and Pride of creation. Here's was we tried .... We ordered a Large Pizza with Pepperoni and Mushroon with extra sauce . It was magnifico . It was cut into perfect little easy-to-handle squares, and each square had a pepperoni on it. Unbelievable that this was achievable . Great job , guys! ( dang , I should have taken a photo, but, it was so enticing , all I could think about at the moment was to get it into my belly) We also ordered an Italian Beef Sandwich, and a Meatball Sandwich , and a COBB SALAD, and a WEDGE SALAD to eat for dinner later. They were DEVOURED appropriately. Capizzi's is FAMOUS for their Cheesecake, so , we ordered an entire Cheesecake in which to partake of during the week. If you intend to dine at the restaurant , please just know that it is small, but it has a Charming place to sit outside if you wish to dine Al Fresco. Also, if you are just "passing by" and if you are wanting to just GRAB and GO some food to prepare yourself when you are ready, they have a large Freezer full of GOODNESS - we did this for SUPERBOWL SUNDAY, and bought all of food for the Big Day here out of the freezer, and we ate like KINGS. We had Meat and Ricotta Cheese Lasagna , Cheese Ravioli with Meat Sauce, Meat and Spinach Ravioli with Marinara Sauce, a nice pizza pie , and , we bought a variety of Individual slices of Cheesecake so everyone could have their favorite. They do make a PLATTER of bite-sized cheesecake pieces which are very appealing. So , to sum up... SUPER FRIENDLY people, SUPER TASTY food, and Super easy and convenient to obtain nourishing sustenance. Our new FAVORITE !! See you again soon, Capizzi's . Grazie mille. This place is an amazing find. We happened on it after dining at Desert Thai (the best Thai in the Valley). It is just a little storefront, with incredible take-out food. We were attracted in for some cheesecake slices for dessert. The NY-style with sour cream topping was fantastic. Then we saw they had frozen thin crust pizzas to go. I am a pizza snob and have not been able to find that combination of ultra thin crust, and great sauce to cheese ratio in the desert. Can you believe we found it their vacuum-sealed to-go pizzas? Ten minutes at 425 are we were in heaven tonight! The sausage and all ingredients are of high-quality and oh so good. We bought a frozen lasagna, too. Can’t wait to try that. Had a white chocolate dipped orange zest biscotti-yum! We are big fans. Please support this place. It is a keeper.

UPDATE: I originally gave 3 stars. Then, I got a nice note asking if they could do anything. It was nice that they reached out. I replied with no real ideas, I figure the businesses can do that stuff better than me telling them. I'll for sure order again and I do recommend them too. I did a delivery order a bit before 7:30. I think they were closing, because my pizza is rather burnt and uneven. Yet, I can term they normally do great, because it tasted ok. I just picked off the burned stuff. Now, I waited and waited for it to arrive. After an hour I figured I would see if it arrived. Well, it had. It was cold, but pizza warms up ok. I just wish someone knocked, sent a text, or called. I think you should try this place, but if you do delivery, Don't do it near their closing time and check your door often. Heck, just go pick it up.

Simply the best pizza I’ve ever had. This family was originally from Chicago and I grew up on their delicious pies. I was SO excited to hear that the son kept the family tradition going out in Palm Springs. The pizza is still the same amazing recipe and the cheesecakes are heavenly. Throw in a wonderful owner and you can’t do better. Don’t miss this amazing place!

The delivery did arrive within 10 min of the estimate but the crust was chewy and the topping very light. Silver lining is the cannoli was decent. Over all a disappointment and won’t be returning.
