“We try to be a once-a-weeker at this charming, clean, upscale hot dog/slider cozy eatery near where we stay for winter. I would call it diner style except they are the higher round tables and a few rectangle tables. Owner's clearly wants happy/delighted customers and bends backwards to even turn sour pickles into sweet gherkins! His assistant chef is equally professional in his prep and appearance. All this for the price of an upscale hot dog!! I am a fan of the Chicago-style dog, my friend loves the Brat dog and our guest loved the Cat City dog! On top of the attentive staff, they surprise you with complimentary Mimosa on Saturday. Who else does that? The high quality dog and bun are the draw along with the strawberry lemonade as well as beer for those who must....”

“Great gay bar with nightly live entertainment! We’re not big into the bar/club scene, so don’t go out downtown often. One Eleven is our new favorite bar, they have several really great drag shows every week and they mix up their performers. Lots of girls from Drag Race perform here. We usually get a table and bring a small group with us and Dennis and Rick keep our drinks full. Terrific service and even better entertainment! Make sure you check out Vanity Halston’s show on Friday nights!”
“The desert needed another good Thai restaurant and we are not disappointed. Really nice staff and the food is good. They have an outdoor patio and indoor seating. This place is simple and doesn't look "thai" but the food is better than the other local Thai restaurants.”

“We finally made it to this restaurant for dinner. We sat on the patio and watched a beautiful sunset as we dined. We found the menu had some great selections, but we stuck with some ala carte choices as a way to sample several items. The sopa with beef, the beef taco, and tostada were excellent. The enchiladas and tamale were just average, I'd say. The salsa and chips were a winner ( not too spicy with the salsa). Great pricing and service were additional reasons to come back for more.”

“Sunshine Cafe does bring the Sunshine to its dishes. This lowkey, cozy, and hidden location is a gem in the Cathedral City area. This was my first time at this diner and the food was very memorable. I want to go back for seconds, but the portions they offer won't let you fit it all in. This small quiet family inspired diner has the vibe that makes you feel like you are dining at your grandma's or great aunt's house. There are no frills to distract you from the food. This location appears to be very clean for a so called "hole in the wall" type diner. An A+ for me.The staff is very quiet but very welcoming and inviting. We arrived and all the tables were full but they offered us seating at the counter. The counter is low seating, so no high chairs. As soon as some patrons were done eating, we were able to move our seating to one of their cozy booths.This location is conveniently located right off Hwy 111 on Cathedral Canyon Dr. Parking is very limited but they are next to downtown Cathedral City where a parking structure and street parking are available. Once you park, it's just a brief walk to this diner from the parking structure.Sunshine Cafe makes everything homemade and you can definitely taste it. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with hashbrowns, 2 sunny-side up eggs and the homemade country sausage gravy. This was a great flavorful dish. I was really surprised with the creamy gravy that complimented the chicken fried steak. So Good!!! The hashbrowns were fresh and the eggs were served beautifully. Also, this order comes with a side toast of your choosing. The best part is that they took it upon themselves to butter my toast before it came to the table. I was able to enjoy this meal with their fresh squeezed orange juice.My partner had the Belgian Waffle Combo. This dish comes with 1 large waffle topped with whipped cream, 2 sunny-side up eggs, and 2 large sausages, but bacon is also an option upon request. She was able to have this delicious dish with all you can drink hot coffee. They are very attentive with filling up your mug everytime you reach the bottom of the mug.Overall this is a great location to enjoy a homemade meal when you want to indulge your appetite with lots of love and sunshine. They offer a multitude of other food options, other than breakfast items. As we walked up to the diner, we were hit a with a delicious aroma of charbroiled burgers. I will definitely be back to treat myself to what I assume is a mouth watering burger and my partner, well she can come too.”

“Been looking for at least decent BBQ in CV, so had to try Bubbas. Overall it's good and I would go back, but probably to try the burger.We got the sampler platter for 2, which gave us brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, sausage and a quarter chicken so we could try most of everything. So first off, don't expect a real smoked BBQ experience here. Didn't detect a smoker used at all in any of the meats, just more or less roasted. The hits I'd say were the brisket and the sausage. Brisket was flavorful without too much fat, the sausage was tasty too. But the chicken, ribs and pulled pork were overcooked. All of it falling off the bone which isn't really a bad thing, but cooked to the point of on the mushy side is. This is also indicative of frozen meat. There was virtually no difference between the pulled pork and the rib meat.Over on the plus side, I did like their sauces. Their basic BBQ sauce was on the sweet side, the spicy bourbon had a come through bourbon flavor, and the sweet chili sauce and mango habanero were also tasty. The two sides we chose were also good. The jalapeno pinto beans were nice and spicy, the mac n cheese was also good, but not the best. Corn bread was dense and not much corn flavor.Service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing.Prices were about average for a BBQ spot. Atmosphere was nice, although trying to convey a roadhouse feeling in a strip mall.Full bar with a good selection of house cocktails and beer.I would go back to try their burger, I'm curious about it. And I'd give the pork another try (small order), to see if they just had an off day.”
“Best juice, smoothies, fruit bowls and even coffee/tea drinks along with amazing breakfast sandwiches (husband's favorite) and my favorite, the protein waffle with the works. Breakfast and lunch are fantastic here. Everything is made fresh so it takes a minute but worth it and the staff is always nice and friendly. It's also a bit costly, but good, pure ingredients are not cheap and they have rent and employees to pay. This is literally one of my favorite places in the Coachella Valley!”

“Ok… so this place is just fantastic! Epic in every way. My darling and I went there for dinner, and we were so impressed, we went back the next day for lunch. Every dish we had was just wonderful. Beef Dip, Shrimp Poke Bowl, Club Sandwich and a Rueben Sandwich… All Incredible!!!But the most astounding thing is how wonderfully friendly, accommodating, welcoming, and just darn professional, every staff member we met were. Managers… Felicia and Kenneth should be proud of this sincere staff! Ellie and Leslie, were our servers, both excellent. Saul and Fransisco were support staff and deserve a commendation for their truly excellent service, and last but definitely not least was the genuine and sincerely welcoming smile of Daniella in the bar. I am happy to write this review because they made our two visits memorable. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mountain View Grille. You really hit it out of the park! ??️”

“There were two other parties when we came in. There's music playing on a tv to help disrupt the other's conversations so you can focus on who you're with. The employees checked on us just enough and not at awkward times like when our mouth was full. The food was good. I forgot to take a picture of our main dish which was the sweet fire chicken it was just the right amount of spice and sweetness for me. It came with pickled radishes on the side, a small potion of white rice and a few pieces of fried rice cake. It was first introduced with their house salad which was light and even the dressing was not overbearing, they paired well. Our dessert was Hotteok with Green Tea Ice Cream and I really enjoyed it. The Hotteok was a nice consistency and was sweet and tasty. I used it to wipe up the melty green tea ice cream. I'm not quite sure which Beech cocktail we got but it had blue curacao.”

“This Agua Caliente Casino's new location is great for people my age and older. I am in my 40's, lol. It's small, very low key and located in a great, safe area. I also appreciate the security riding around in bikes. So you will feel safe and not have to worry about your car for a while. They have a good amount of machines, great sports bar section, love the dark atmosphere, very clean and well offers everything you would expect from a good casino. Very nice people working here too.”

“So there are two different places called the sand trap this review is for the one in cathedral city. This place is my kinda bar it's been here for over 40 years and the wonderful lady who runs it has owned it for 30 years. It's a total hole in the wall but it's my kinda bar and should be considered a local treasure. So when you go there you have to get the grilled shrimp. She makes them spicy or mild (both were kinda spicy but in a pleasant way). The plate will run you about $35 but it's enough for 2 people to share. For drinks it's mainly domestic beers, bottled or canned. No frills great shrimp and great company check it out!”

“One of the best restaurants I went to while in Cat City for Coachella. If you don't want to pay exorbitant amounts of money for sub bar food at the festival, go to this place for a pre game meal. Your tastebuds will thank you. I'm usually not a fan of hard shell tacos but their beef tacos had fall-off-the-bone meat, and crispy crunchy taco shells that I haven't had anywhere else. Their specials center around pupusas, but those tacos won over my palate. Ended up coming here twice because of the value and taste. The waitstaff is extremely nice and we left with some temporary tattoos from the quarter machines which apparently haven't been serviced in 2+ years. Got to relive a part of my childhood here. 5/5 highly recommend!”

My husband will try different things sometimes. He has also enjoyed everything he has tried. We usually get it as take out and the order is right almost everytime. I kinda don't like eating out or take out as much as I use to because I feel like most places cannot get the order right lately and the way cost have gone up I get really annoyed paying so much for something I don't really enjoy. That is another thing about Tortillas I love, they won't break your wallet. I definitely recommend.”

I love tender meat but this was not tender, it was something else. I ended up taking the taco apart and using the shell and cheese to scoop up their amazing beans and rice and that was lunch. One Eleven is our new favorite bar, they have several really great drag shows every week and they mix up their performers. Lots of girls from Drag Race perform here.
