“I really wish I would have taken a picture of my vanilla yogurt bowl but I just dove in! It had bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. All of the fruit was sweet and looked absolutely delicious. The granola was still crunchy and the yogurt was fantastic. I also ordered a brown sugar white mocha iced latte and it was to die for. Creamy, balanced, not too sweet, not too acidic, and just flat out worth the calories. This family owned and run business is my new favorite spot for a morning or mid afternoon pick me up!”

“This s my second time here, drinks are still just as fresh and delicious as I remembered!You can really taste that they use fresh milk and real fruit.
I also noticed they’re serving Chinese food now, so today I tried their fish wraps dumplings soup,WOW! The food is seriously authentic and the price or so reasonable. top soup was only $8.99 and I added a braised egg.The whole meal was around $10 which is such a great deal nowadays!
Definitely recommend trying their Chinese food if you’re looking for authentic flavors at an affordable price,I’ll definitely be bringing my friends back to try more!”

The place is attended by its owner Tara, who is such a chatty, ally, and kind person. The place is decorated with that Palm Springs MCM style and just has such a cute ambiance of its own.

If you are looking for making connections, enjoy great coffee and do some work. This is the place for you!

Also- there are great thrift pieces to shop around (in this shop) if you’re looking for a nice wearable souvenir of Palm Springs.”

“We recently moved to Cathedral City from New Jersey and have been making it a point to try as many local restaurants as possible. China 8 was our latest stop, and overall we had a pleasant experience.

The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We started with the fried potstickers, which were crispy and enjoyable. The egg drop soup wasn't our favorite, as it included corn, which was a little different from what we're used to, but it was still a nice start to the meal.

For our entrées, we had the Chicken with Snow Peas and the Chicken & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. The snow peas were fresh and crisp, and the chicken was tender. The garlic sauce dish was packed with flavor and definitely had some heat to it—more than we expected—but it was well prepared and made with fresh ingredients.

While China 8 hasn't quite replaced our longtime favorite Chinese restaurant back in New Jersey, it was a solid meal and one we enjoyed. We would definitely come back and explore more of the menu, especially now that we know to ask for milder spice levels on some dishes.

If you're looking for a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with friendly service and generous portions, China 8 is worth a visit.”

I left the desert 10 years ago and find myself still regularly thinking about these today. I’ve never found anything that comes close to my beloved drinks, and they will be the first thing I search out when I come back for a visit. Give them a try, you don’t forget it, in my opinion they are a desert staple not to be missed.”

Handmade yellow corn tortillas, fresh baked goods and cakes every day, and my favorite tomatillo salsa ANYWHERE. Ah, memories. Pure nostalgia.

My husband had a draft beer from the bar that was served ice cold in a perfectly chilled glass. We started our meal with a classic wedge salad. I have to say that I did not expect this to be on the menu of a “burger joint” but so glad it was. It was a generous portion with the all the classic elements. The standout here was the bacon on the salad. It was freshly made and perfectly cooked. My husband had the smash burger and I had the Chicago dog. So many times at other burger places it seems that the bun overshadows their burgers but not here. And the hotdog here had a very nice hint of sweetness in its pickle relish. So delicious! We also had a half order of the regular fries. You can tell that they are house made and not frozen. They are seasoned and have a nice light coat of salt. Yummy! We splurged for a strawberry malt to finish our meal. Wow! It was served in a classic ice cream fountain style glass and accompanied by the big silver metal cup that they used to make and mix it in. What a value. It was more than enough for two full glasses. Nothing like the real thing when it comes to a strawberry malt. They deserve to be on anyone’s radar when looking for a delicious restaurant with outstanding service.”
