“If you want DELICIOUS Korean food, RUN!!! My friend and I just went here and it was DELICIOUS!!! I had the chicken teriyaki bowl and she had the spicy ramen and a banana milk drink. The place is attended by its owner Tara, who is such a chatty, ally, and kind person. The place is decorated with that Palm Springs MCM style and just has such a cute ambiance of its own.

If you are looking for making connections, enjoy great coffee and do some work. This is the place for you!

Easy parking, beautiful seating and a peaceful golf course view and not even busy for a Friday morning. The service was friendly and fast. “Been here about a handful of times. Amazing food and amazing waitresses AS always. But this last time I had to ask our waitress were we hearing things? A child seemed to be having tantrum every 4 and a half minutes. A child. Everybody in the restaurant definitely looked irked. The 40 year old mother and her what looked like to be her 25 year old baby daddy didn't seem too care downing the bottomless mimosas. My god.”

“We recently moved to Cathedral City from New Jersey and have been making it a point to try as many local restaurants as possible. China 8 was our latest stop, and overall we had a pleasant experience.

The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We started with the fried potstickers, which were crispy and enjoyable. The egg drop soup wasn't our favorite, as it included corn, which was a little different from what we're used to, but it was still a nice start to the meal.

For our entrées, we had the Chicken with Snow Peas and the Chicken & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. The snow peas were fresh and crisp, and the chicken was tender. The garlic sauce dish was packed with flavor and definitely had some heat to it—more than we expected—but it was well prepared and made with fresh ingredients.

While China 8 hasn't quite replaced our longtime favorite Chinese restaurant back in New Jersey, it was a solid meal and one we enjoyed. We would definitely come back and explore more of the menu, especially now that we know to ask for milder spice levels on some dishes.

If you're looking for a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with friendly service and generous portions, China 8 is worth a visit.”

“I grew up on E pels, they would come to my middle and high schools, the firework shows, swap meets, you name it! E pel was and is a huge part of my childhood. I left the desert 10 years ago and find myself still regularly thinking about these today. I’ve never found anything that comes close to my beloved drinks, and they will be the first thing I search out when I come back for a visit. Give them a try, you don’t forget it, in my opinion they are a desert staple not to be missed.”

The staff was efficient, friendly, and the customer service was on point. My order was handled quickly without feeling rushed, and everything came out as expected.

My only complaint is something pretty simple: napkins should automatically be included with every order. Having to ask for napkins is a small inconvenience, especially when you're eating a juicy burger and fries. They should be part of the basic service without customers having to request them.

Delicious ! I’m an iced tea junkie and the tea here was refreshing .

What stood out here was the service ——- the staff was on it and we had plenty of smiles checking in on us .

Even though the restaurant was busy and she was running up & down she still managed to have a smile on her face and was able to help me place my order. The regular breakfast burrito was very tasty and quite big. I took home half of it.
The service was running a bit slow, but that was understandable giving the large number of guests in our group and not the fault of the servers.”
