“The food and service at Tortillas Restaurant is amazing!! I had the Chile Relleno with cheese (vegetarian options available, which was super nice!) and my husband had the Enchiladas de Mole with chicken - and both were delicious! The mole sauce is definitely of 5-star quality! It was all so fresh and authentic, with the foods being beautifully presented on the plates. I also highly recommend the horchata drinks there too!“

“Had a craving for hearty Mexican food, and really enjoyed my meal here. The margarita wasn’t too sweet, with plenty of tequila. Nice enchiladas … enjoyed the chicken as it wasn’t dried out, and the beans were flavorful with the right balance of cheese. Definitely would go back again.“

“We’ve ordered from here several times. This is our go to place for excellent fresh high quality authentic Mexican food. Their chicken mole is outstanding, and the chicken fajitas are delicious. The fresh chips and salsa are top notch, fresh and delicious. I appreciate a full serving with rice and beans with each entree. And fresh tortillas. The price is an excellent value at about $18-$19 for each entree. You certainly get your moneys worth. We had margaritas at the bar. They were fantastic!
We usually pick up and take the food home. The quality is consistent and has always been fresh. Thank you! I highly recommend Taqueria San Miguel!“

“I stopped in to grab some lunch and noticed they had one of my favorite dishes on their menu. Camarones Ala Diabla, so I thought I'd give it a try since everything I've ever ordered from this place has always been delicious. Well I was not disappointed, there were plenty of shrimp in a spicy red sauce, served with rice, beans and tortillas. The sauce was very tasty without overwhelming me. Definitely going back for this dish and so much more!“

“Come to this place for the El pastor tacos ($3.80ea). It’s the only place in the desert that does it the traditional way, on a vertical skewer. They don’t greet you with a hug when you come in so don’t expect that. In a valley full of mediocre Mexican food, this taco will set you free…“

“Best lengua tacos. Started coming here as a kid with my family, maybe almost 30 years ago.

Handmade yellow corn tortillas, fresh baked goods and cakes every day, and my favorite tomatillo salsa ANYWHERE. Ah, memories. Pure nostalgia.

One thing to remember is that it's a Cash only establishment.

“I LOVE La Cascada! It's a country club atmosphere (and we are members of Tapatio Springs CC) but the dining is open to the public. The views out to the golf course are beautiful, the atmosphere is modern and elegant, food EXCELLENT, and service also EXCELLENT. I had the pork chop...moist and delicious, also the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Yum! I honestly think La Cascada is great, but ALSO the country club is the BEST VALUE in the hill country!! Hotel rooms and beautiful swimming pools, golf course, wedding venue. It's magical! Tell Becca in Membership that Cathy Newton encouraged to "come visit and consider joining!"“

I don't know if it's her own store but she's running it well and the services always great, and their service is always speedy even when short staff !!
