Las Carretas Taco Shop offers great food for the price with large portions and low prices. The food is from scratch with quality ingredients, and the tacos are superb. Customers recommend the beef tacos, the #8 taco combo plate, an additional potato taco, and the Sunday special Carnitas Torta. The service is excellent, with quick food and several salsa to try. The atmosphere is cool with a very Mexican interior. The store manager, Deana, provides above and beyond service, personally delivering an order after a delivery issue. Another staff member, Fatima, does a great job recommending tacos. Customers describe the restaurant as yummy and truly terrific, especially for lunch when driving through Palm Springs. A Chabela (bloody mary mix + beer) is a good drink option.
