“Exceptional food. I have much love for this place and try to go once a week. One day I may try something else but the spinach and mushrooms enchiladas are to die for. So very good and consistent.“

“Los Primos
Total sleeper—easy to overlook, but worth not missing. Whether it’s a solid entrée like the fish or chicken, the birria, or even the ahi salad, everything comes out well-executed and balanced. Not trying to be trendy, just consistently good across the board.
Quiet spot, strong menu, and better than you’d expect. Definitely one to have in the rotation. I’ve only hit them up for dinner, but I can only imagine how great breakfast is here as well.“

“We were here in Palm Desert for a competition and one of our parents recommended we try this spot. Great margaritas and absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I don't remember the name of the dishes we tried but the pin wheel shrimp and the pork Fajitas are just incredible. If you're in Palm Desert you have to try Guillmores!!! Definitely worth the trip“

“First time at El Ranchito PD. Went for a quick lunch and left very satisfied. Ordered a Cali Burrito and a Al Pastor Torta. Both were delicious and the food was a good portion. For a drink I had the best horchata I've had in a while. Highly recommend, thank you for the excellent experience.“
“Best enchilada I've ever had. All his stuff is made from scratch not using canned ingredients makes a big difference. I can't wait for them to open back up soon!“

“We live full time in the area. This is our go to place for Mexican food. They are friendly, fast and the food is delicious. It is not a fancy place which is what we like about it. Delicious Chili Verde, Fajitas, burritos, etc.
Parking is in front or you may have to park down the street a bit. We'll worth it.“

“DO NOT GO IF YOU WANT TO HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. We went to have dinner my friend and I, we haven't seen each other in awhile. We ordered and ate and then chatted for a bit. We asked for salsa before we got our food, had to ask a couple times but eventually got it. They never refilled our waters. We asked for 2 boxes but just got 1. But then we chatted for a little. Watching to make sure there were tables for people and not staying long. Towards when we were getting ready to leave on our own, but also having a conversation 3 different servers came up and aggressively asked if we wanted anything more. One of them hastily reaching over us to grab our knives off the table smiling like someone trying to hide their hatred or something. This was so rude that a table across from us said "time to leave. Take the hint." So neededless to say, if you want am environment where you can eat and chat this place is not for you. If you want your servers to actually be friendly, this place is not for you. It's one thing to politely ask someone if they are done but it's another thing to be so rude that other customers then decide its OK to ridicule and be rude to you because the server was. So if you want to eat around people who are actually decent humans, this place is not for you.“

“Finally, a place where camarones a la diabla actually bring the fire. These might have been forged by Satan himself. Try them with a michelada and some salty chips, you'll need it! Coupled with the warm service, I am certain I'll be here again in the near future.“

“Possibly the best family-oriented mexican restaurant on the Palm Desert strip. A warm and understanding service staff, as well as terrific music in the evenings that allows the kids to dance and go a little crazy. You've got to hand it to Las Casuelas Cafe, they've kept the music going in Palm Desert. And their serving sizes should be considered large. With a roomy climate controlled porch, it's never uncomfortable. Yup, it can get busy. But I've watched the staff handle hungry chaotic crowds perfectly. That takes experience and a staff that has worked together many years. This certainly must be a tribute to the owner of the restaurant; who really is committed not only to his restaurant, but the community that it serves. But honestly, It comes down to the guacamole, doesn't it? Las Casuelas Cafe has the best!“

“We went for breakfast there for the first time and it was a nice surprise. Fresh food made when you order it. Quick service. No annoying automatic 25% tip on the payment device. So refreshing compared to Hawaii where they want a tip when you buy a Twinkie.“

“When I'm shopping El Paseo I like to stop here for lunch because the food is so sooooo good and the service is just the best. If you come after 2 pm there isn't much of a wait, but if you go around 12:30 there will be a long line and wait for your food. That doesn't put me off because the food is worth waiting for and the good souls who work behind the counter maintain this incredibly positive attitude while helping ring up customers and handing over your food orders. Honestly during those hectic times it can't be easy to stay so pleasant. I am obsessed with the surf & turf double protein bowl, it gives me long lasting energy without weighing me down and feeling sluggish (but mind you, I don't eat the whole thing in one sitting). Just all around a great place to get yummy food.“

“Hands down, this is one of the best spots for hard shell beef tacos and carne asada burritos you’ll ever have! When we lived in the area, this was our go-to taco shop, and it’s still just as amazing all these years later. The beef tacos are always perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the carne asada burritos are unbeatable—juicy, tender, and loaded with goodness.
The salsa is also a standout—fresh and the perfect kick to complement the meal. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this place!“

“We had a terrific lunch here; excellent fish tacos! Comfy, authentic atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. The chips (made on-site) were the best we'd ever had; so fresh and crunchy that we ordered a bag to go, too! I highly recommend this Cucina!“

“I have been to the Sedona location and the Palm Desert location is even far superior. The taste, presentation and service were all exceptional... especially given that they have only been open for three weeks. The Mole Enchilada was the best I have ever had. Decor was fresh, modern, open, airy and welcoming. Nice bar to sit at as well. I will be coming back many times. Bob K Palm Desert“
