Total sleeper—easy to overlook, but worth not missing. Whether it’s a solid entrée like the fish or chicken, the birria, or even the ahi salad, everything comes out well-executed and balanced. Not trying to be trendy, just consistently good across the board.

Quiet spot, strong menu, and better than you’d expect. Definitely one to have in the rotation. I’ve only hit them up for dinner, but I can only imagine how great breakfast is here as well.“

I’ve had GOOD pizzas, but it’s been over a decade since I’ve had an innovative one. These are works of art, very well done. I love the rockabilly vibe too. “We took our neighbor out for lunch, on Friday, recalling what a great experience we had with our son last October. The warmth and efficiency of the staff and our meals were top notch. Instead of heading toward the East side during Coachella, we decided that the eclectic menu here was far superior to unique bite. At 11:15 the place was hopping but we got a great center table. People of all ages love it here. We saw young people ready for concerts and elderly couples and groups. My husband loved the French Dip and he does not usually exclaim with a 5! Our neighbor had the tuna sandwich and side salad. Her sweet petite self had enough to bring half of it home with her. It looked good! My choice was the chicken tarragon on a croissant with those crunchy fries we like so much. An old school charm, consistently great meals and friendly staff make JT's a favorite in the valley.“

“We originally came because of finding you on the Upside app. Little did we know……Wow! Such an amazing meal and awesome service! Arturo was our server and was on top of his game. The Lasagna “Bolognase” was out of this world. Very rich and flavorful. The homemade sausage….out of this world! My wife had The penne with red and white sauce. Again….delicious! We will be back!“

“Mario’s was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of incredible flavor — easily some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Every dish came out perfectly and you can tell they truly care about quality. I had the Cioppino and I definitely recommend getting it!

What made our experience even better was the staff and especially our waitress, Marty. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed the entire time. Her great personality and outstanding service made our meal even more enjoyable. Kayla was also awesome.

“Just walked in, no plan other than checking it out (never been here despite living in the desert since 2007)! I’m sorry I missed out! Happy hour from 3-6 pm, had gin and tonic(awesome) my wife had lemon drop : solid is her rating. For snacks we ordered tuna stack (lots of tuna ) and Asiago Mac and cheese (ridiculously delicious), if these are typical for them I am definitely coming back again .“

“This restaurant is truly special. Their Thanksgiving spread and service were incredible and we could easily see that they all work as a family not just co workers. They gave my Dad’s girlfriend a wonderful spread of birthday desserts, the whole restaurant sang to her and they even had football going for the Ravens fans next to us! The chef personally came to talk with us and I’d like to give a special shout out to Gina. One of the best servers I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I hope we make it back soon!“
