Intimate setting and lovely people. The place is, evidently, packed from open to close and one of the few things I did not appreciate was that everyone seemed quite rushed to vacate their seats so that the next group, standing amongst the tables, could be seated. Listen, my family and I used to frequent Mezzo Mondo at their Los Angeles location for years...there is NO QUESTION it was the best Italian food in the city...and my husband was a chef in LA who, like most chef's, will only comment in a positive way if a restaurant is spectacular, which Mezzo Mondo always was. Small intimate little Italian restaurant. The owners are delightful and we enjoyed their personalized service and the farmers market to menu approach. Fresh home made pasta and very unique specials of the day were a hit. We throughly enjoyed the scallop carpaccio it was delicate and delicious! Pasta is homemade so not heavy and melts in your mouth. We will be back!
