My food was off the chain, top notch, i would definitely be back. And if you are going on a date or celebrating anything, try to get Christina as your waitress. “You know how there are places you wish were close to where you live and at the same time, wish they were further away?! This is one of them. Although I expect that if there was one near where I live, I hope I'd be able to exercise a little self control.
The ice cream here is so fresh and delicious, it's hard to describe. For instance, their coffee ice cream tastes like pure coffee as opposed to coffee flavoring. The same goes for all of their flavors.
It appears that there are only 6 locations on the West Coast and 3 of them are in Palm Springs/Palm Desert. Nothing on the East Coast.
There are locations in Hawaii as that is where this ice cream eminated from. That's also where I first had this amazing delicacy.
If you have the good fortune of coming across one of the stores, I obviously highly recommend it.”

We had stayed late past the mall closing & were concerned about making it to our car on the other side of the mall safely. The manager, Art, took the liberty to escort us to our vehicles to ensure that we made it there safely. Our server Laurel, also took the liberty to alert the manager for us. Great customer service & a great dinner to end a long day! Definitely recommend eating here.”

Here’s the thing though. I get the same thing every time. I enjoy the carne asada burritos so much I never try anything else.

“What a great restaurant that embodies diners from the 60s. We went for breakfast at 7am during the summer, and they weren't busy at all. First off, the pancakes are huge and delicious. All breakfast prices are reasonable. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean. There are lots of seats around the counter that remind you of soda fountains from the past. If you are not looking for fancy but just good food at reasonable prices, this is a great option!”

Bobby has done a wonderful job turning this restaurant into a great success. Instead of heading toward the East side during Coachella, we decided that the eclectic menu here was far superior to unique bite. At 11:15 the place was hopping but we got a great center table. People of all ages love it here. We saw young people ready for concerts and elderly couples and groups. My husband loved the French Dip and he does not usually exclaim with a 5! “Just stopped in this cafe at the suggestion of a store clerk in this shopping center and I’m so glad I took her advice. Calm, cute, clean breakfast/lunch/coffee/wine spot. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a nice gentleman and he showed us to our table and gave us all the names of his employees that day and told us if we didn’t like a service to be sure to let him know. Dani was our server and our food was brought out quickly to our table and it was nice and hot. Pancakes were a good size and the meals were satisfying. Dani was pleasant and checked on us to ensure we were satisfied or needed anything else. Very good menu selection. Something for everyone. “I had the spicy miso ramen bowl. Delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful. Spicy but not too spicy. Noodles were the perfect texture and cooked just right. A tip for the owners, I have driven past this restaurant many times and thought it was no longer open because the windows are so tinted that you can’t see the “open” sign lit up. I would recommend stronger visibility to see that you are open. Loved the robot service, nice touch.”

“Jimmy John’s in Palm Desert has become one of my go-to spots for a great lunch, whether I’m eating in, meeting with a client, or picking up an order to take to a client’s office.

I brought a client in today and once again had a fantastic experience. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap combo, and it was excellent—fresh, flavorful, filling, and an amazing value for the quality and portion. The sandwiches and wraps here are consistently great, service is quick, and everything is always fresh.

A big part of what makes this location stand out is owner Brian Murphy. Brian genuinely cares about his customers, provides excellent service, and takes pride in delivering a great experience and great value. That personal involvement makes a difference and is one of the reasons I continue coming back.

“We have been to Boulevards 3 or 4 times for dinner, each time it was a great experience; service, food, and ambiance way above par...however, we had lunch for the first time a week ago this past Friday with 7 other people. While the service was good, the food was subpar...I had a professional LA Chef with us, who did not say a word, but neither he or his wife ate their lunches and I know them well enough to know they did not like it...I ordered chili, it was not very good and was luke warm, but the server took it immediately and warmed it. My partner ordered a club sandwich, it too was subpar, and another friend also ordered chili and felt as I did. While the others in the party were grandkids, the one salad looked like a bowl filled with lettuce thrown together, and not much thought at that, one had a sandwich and I looked at that, it too looked awful, and my one grandson said his lunch was good...I do not remember what he had. For a place that has no kids menu and prices are steep, everything should be served professionally. ALSO...I was in the restaurant business in LA and NYC for over 25 years and it is 2024 and time for Boulevards to have a voice mail instead of a message that askes the customer to call back when they cant answer the phone as they "are serving other customers" The customer should not have to keep calling back. By the way, I just called to make reservations for this coming Tues nite, 4 times over a 15 - 20 minute period, and each time I got this same message. We really like Boulevards for dinner, but as with all restaurants, and included my own, there is always room for improvement!”

“A take out order today had one "glitch," so I wondered if J's was slipping again. I called the restaurant and talked to the person who had sent the order out. She apologized and said there would be a credit on my next order either delivery or in the restaurant. But almost immediately, Jay, the owner, sent me an email apology increasing the credit (double the cost of the item) and saying he was sorry for the error and disappointing me. That prompt and responsive action on the part of the owner counts. Things go wrong with any restaurant or any business. I learned long ago as a customer - and as a consultant to the top execs at Fortune 500 companies - that the true measure of a company isn't how they act when things are going well (that's easy) but rather how they handle it when things go awry. Jay handled the minor mistake in my order with professionalism, responsiveness, promptness, and kindness. The order was on time, packaged perfectly, and the key thing, great food. As I said in the past, there was a period in which I saw some problems at J's, but for a while now, I have seen nothing but great food, good service, and attention to the customer. I hope others go to J's and find the same.”

The taste, presentation and service were all exceptional... especially given that they have only been open for three weeks. The Mole Enchilada was the best I have ever had. From the minute Helen greets us at the door until the wait staff comes to serve me coffee and water, I am always greeted with a smile. Servers Rafi, Rudy, Antonio, and Veronica are efficient and prompt in getting my order to my satisfaction. The cooks provide consistently attractive food, and my order arrives just the way I like it. The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful with the menu, and it really adds to the experience. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me today, but it was totally worth the wait, and they still got the drinks out impressively fast. Honestly, the entire team was great. Everybody has a positive attitude, nobody acting like it was a big imposition to try and help out. Completely rare in this day and age, and I really appreciate that kind of service, regardless of where I go when a team makes over and above effort.
