“Food is very tasty but unfortunately portions especially appetizers are half the size since Covid. Sometimes dishes are overly Saucy and salty ..... not healthy for sure. Hamburgers are great. Very nice ambience especially on the terrace.”

“Grapefruit Basil Restaurant is fantastic. It is fun to dine here. The restaurant is nice, the outside seating is comfortable and is a very nice setting. The menu offers great choices for every dining preference. The employees are friendly and helpful. Fernanda was our great server and Brittany is a great manager. We will definitely be regular customers here. The restaurant was very busy for a good reason - it is terrific!”

“My mom and I stopped in for brunch and it was DELICIOUS. I strongly recommend everything she and I ate. Mom had the brioche french toast with cinnamon whipped cream and tres leches latte; I ordered the pork enchiladas with a poached egg, and the golden (turmeric) latte. Our server was awesome, too. Will definitely visit every time I am in La Quinta!”

“Very nice evening, the restaurant has a very pretty courtyard and beautiful ambiance. Our servers were all excellent. Menu was a bit disappointing, usual fish, chicken, beef type of American menu. Having said this all the food was well executed and tasty. Oysters were superb! I would recommend this establishment and most likely go back. The noise level was high, I would probably try to get a table outside next time.”

“After a long exhausting day with the family we were just trying to find somewhere to grab a nice family dinner that didn't have too long of a wait and we happened across Don Diego's. There was lively live music and the atmosphere was good so we thought we'd give it a try. We didn't have a reservation but the hostess accommodated us right away which we really appreciated. The service was awesome, everyone worked as a team and was very friendly and helpful, and it all felt genuinely kind. So nice after a trying day! The food was good, everyone was happy with their meal. The roaming musician came by and sang us a lovely song and it was perfect. Such a great experience thank you all so much for the hospitality and tasty dinner! We will be back!”

“The lounge is decorated nicely. The food menu is limited but it is designed as small bites to go with your drinks. They have a lovely selection of cocktails. Our server was very nice and friendly. For drinks we ordered a Paloma and for appetizers raw tuna tostada. Both were excellent so we ordered the same food again. A very pleasant spot to have a night cap.”

“Loved it! We went for their happy hour three-course special after getting a day pass from Resort Pass for the hotel. An incredible deal for three courses at $29, plus wine was around $8. Great food and nice atmosphere.”

“Very relaxing spot with open air views of the course fairways. I ordered my wings extra crispy and that's how they came. The bartender was attentive and they have a nice selection of whiskeys available. Definitely a good spot for the 19th hole, watch the game with friends or a casual date spot. Outside of the bar the rest of the restaurant has an open feel and they also had (light jazzy type) live music perfect for a cocktail lounge.”

“Sea Bass and Parmesan Sole were fabulous as were the asparagus and Mac'n cheese. Due to unexpected rain we were not sure about our patio reservation but we were accommodated under the awning and with heaters. Anna, our server, was the best! Be sure to keep her, do not ever let her go! A very enjoyable dining experience for our table of six.”

“This was the top search result from Google when I searched for 'gluten free' and 'vegan'. My friend with Celiac Disease would not do well here – no gluten free bread. There were many items with garlic, and since I am garlic sensitive, I was forced to break my eczema prevention no wheat diet. We ordered BLTAs and I added cracked cheese (I expected a vegan cheese slice) but it was like mushed cream cheese which made my sandwich thick, soggy and messy to eat. I was very impressed with the tofu bacon, so we came back three more times. I tried the Coachella Forever and Mini Greens salada. The key lime dessert was apparently very delicious. They have fridges and freezers full of take-away items, and a pantry shelves full of Japanese flavours and I really want to take some home with me. I bought the mango lime dressing, but it started sweating after three days, so I ended up throwing most of the jar away. We bought a blueberry pie, by it wasn't like a real pie, so we threw half of that away as well. BLTA is the only item we like and we will come back for it, the levain sour dough was chewy and I enjoy the tofu bacon a lot. If they offered gluten free bread or even use Vietnamese rice wrap on the sandwiches for a gluten free option, we would have eaten here many more times.”

“Grabbed a seat at the bar. Friendly staff and excellent service. The tempura fried green beans and onion rings were delicious. We split the hamburger. So good. Arnold Palmer's is on our regular rotation in Old Town. Plan ahead and make a reservation if you want a table.”

“While visiting family in Palm Springs, my father reserved a table for us at Si Bon. It was an excellent experience. The service was excellent and the food delectable. I had the wedge salad with maplewood bacon, roasted hazelnuts and Maytag bleu cheese. It's important to note that the dish is gluten-free. My husband loved the Smoked Salmon Plate, and my father had the mussels. Delicious food with a great atmosphere. I would recommend leaving the kids at home.”

“Mitch's is a great seafood and steak restaurant with a massive outdoor patio. Today, we were inside. It was elegant and warm. The waiter service was fantastic and friendly. We loved their masterful cocktails, especially the espresso martini. The sushi and oysters were great appetizers. Their chocolate dessert that melts off was a fun dessert to watch and eat.”

“I'm curious about why there are so few Lapperts ice cream shops in California. We literally drive here from San Diego to have this ice cream. The flavors are my favorite and you can't get anything quite like them from any other brand. My kids are obsessed too, perhaps it's a good thing that they are so scarce in location.”

“Took our family member here for her birthday. Tanya, our server, was so welcoming and pleasant. She seemed like she genuinely enjoyed people and her disposition was very authentic and rare among servers. There was also a bus person on staff who was prompt with filling waters, clearing plates, etc. It is clear that this restaurant takes service very seriously. Despite the great service, it never felt stuffy btw.The food was also on par with the service. We had salads (one pear and two beet), the Chilean sea bass, cioppino, crab cakes, and a few dishes for the kids. Everything was fantastic: fresh and well prepared..We had a reservation for outdoor dining which ended up being on a windy evening. The outdoor patio was actually sheltered and heated, so despite being offered to move inside, we enjoyed the outdoor patio. What an amazing restaurant; would definitely recommend!”
