“Stopped here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing over the top fancy, but all my kids were very happy. Much Better than McDonald’s which is where the kids requested. Got the breakfast burrito and the egg and cheese bagel. No complaints from anyone which is a rarity. Not busy at all, but hope to see this business thrive!”

The Sands Hotel team recently managed to snag one of the 3 best bartenders (Ryan Z) in Palm Springs to manage their Pink Cabana cocktail program; Palm Springs loss is most definitely their gain (and worth the short drive).

The space itself is gorgeous; the kind of slightly hidden hotel that you sorta’ have to know about. Enter through the grand double doors into the hotel lobby and through yet another set of doors, and a stunning pool area and restaurant unfold in front of your eyes. The vibe feels a bit like something out of a 1950’s movie. Just as importantly however is the quality of the food and drinks. Spot on!

Now that this unique Indian Wells space has brought in Ryan; it will get even better. I’ve definitely found a new spot worth leaving Palm Springs for.”

“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.”

I have tried many Mexican restaurants in the 8 years I have lived in Palm Desert and I truly must say the food was excellent, the service from Javier at the bar was welcoming and friendly and the environment was awesome so far as not crazy loud but a nice hum of other guests. “Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.”

From the minute Helen greets us at the door until the wait staff comes to serve me coffee and water, I am always greeted with a smile. Servers Rafi, Rudy, Antonio, and Veronica are efficient and prompt in getting my order to my satisfaction. The cooks provide consistently attractive food, and my order arrives just the way I like it. If you are looking for reasonable prices, good food, and friendly service, this is the place to find it.”

“Friends of ours have brought Luna grill food to our home, but this is the first time we actually went ate at the restaurant. The service is amazing. We were approached no less than four times by different servers asking how we were and if we needed anything else. The food is excellent. The pita bread is warm and tasty and the food portions are very generous, and delicious as well.
I would highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.”
