My husband had the sweet potato fries that he says they are delicious (I hate all sweet potato fries). The restaurant is clean, the employees very accommodating and nice, and they serve beer - can't get much better than this. Worth checking out if you've never been, I know I'll be back.”

“Best Chavelas in Indio! I have tried the chavelas from many places around town and I can honestly say Frosties is the best tasting. Served in nice frosty glasses with a appetizer cocktail shrimp for garnish. I will definitely be going back to try some of the food offerings, unfortunately when we arrived they had just closed so we could not order much. I will say even though it was closed Noe let us stay and enjoy our chavela while he finished cleaning up which we thought was very nice. Noe was very accomodating to his customers. I did get a fruit salad for my daughter and she really enjoyed being able to add her own condiments and sauces as she wanted.”

Our server suggested that we split a bottle of beer but they were out of the large size so she brought us 2 regular size bottles and charged us for the single large. I thought that was a very nice way to make up for it.”

“Pleasantly surprised! We tried this spot twice this week — once with no spice on the chicken tenders and once with mild for me and medium for my partner. They have a hierarchy for spice level that you’re able to choose from when you order.

My box came with mild chicken tenders, seasoned French fries, pickles and 2 pieces of white bread. It also came with Dave’s sauce. The tenders were really tasty — extra large and the breaded is nice and crunchy. The mild was just that — mild but still adding flavor with the other spices used in their rub. The chicken itself was moist and delicious! Fries were tasty and pickles were a great addition to munch on as well. I wasn’t too sure about the white bread — I didn’t eat them.

My partner’s medium tenders took the heat barely to the next level to us but I do prefer a heat level that is present but not overwhelming.

Service was excellent — employees were kind and checked on us. I haven’t had service like this at a fast food place except for Chik-Fil-A and In-N-Out. Very surprised but happy with the overall experience. Will be back!”

“I randomly found this spot on my drive back to Los Angeles from Phoenix while I was searching for something that wasn't a soulless gas station.I'm so glad I stopped in! I chose mango and pineapple and watched them prepare the raspados with so much care - layers of shaved ice, mango and pineapple syrup with chunks of fruit. I also added the condensed milk. It was soooo good, and a million times better than the American snow cones. I've seen other reviews with different toppings but my Spanish isn't the best so I didn't really know what to order when I got there. I'll definitely come back again and try some other flavours. The owners were friendly and service was quick. So glad I found this spot while driving through Indio. Would highly recommend!”

The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!”

“I am visiting Palm Springs for a tradeshow this weekend and dropped in to Maxcy's Grill for breakfast. From the omelets to the French toast, everything was on point. I lobe the atmosphere of all the retired veterans. We were lucky to get there right before the crowd. You have to order first and then sit down so there could be a line right when you walk in, but it moves really quickly. We got the Ranchero Omeltye and the French toast special with eggs and bacon. Overall, it was a fun little greasy spoon, and I would come back.

“Sloan's is tremendous! My favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley and I've lived here for 46+ years. Just the finest quality ingredients in everything on their menu and the service is always superb. We drive an hour each way to visit Sloan's and it never disappoints. In this modern-day world of a "take it or leave it" attitude at many restaurants it's refreshing to find a restaurant who's staff actually care about their customers and take pride in offering a great product and a great value. The food here is exceptional and the servers are top-notch professionals in every way. The food is always the absolute freshest anywhere and it really shows. Such a delightful place and I always recommend Sloan's very highly.”

Walking into the location, we were reminded of the panaderias we grew up visiting as children. The chocolate cake was decorated like a giant hostess cupcake and was a big hit with the kids. The friendly staff double checked (at the register) and triple checked (by the barista) to make sure that I wanted a cold matcha green tea latte without ice. The drink came out perfect and fast. The staff worked well with each other behind the counter. Many patrons came in to pick up their to go orders and leave.+1 star: The large seating area for this Starbucks location was well-lit. Many patrons came in to chat and have their coffee. There is outdoor seating, but it is just too hot, even at around 8am. The day I went, the outside temperature at 8am was easily in the 90s.+1 star: Two restrooms were clean, no pin codes needed. This was helpful especially after my two hours nonstop driving.+1 star: Fast wifi log in when I needed to work for just a short while. The air conditioning was on blast and that felt good when thw outside temperature was 90s and 100s. There were enough parking spots in the lot for indoor dining or online order pick up. There is also a drive through for those who don't wish to step out into the heat.Overall, I'd return to this Starbucks when I'm in the area again.”

“I went in there this afternoon for a pupusa de chicharron y queso y frijoles and a coke. Oh how I wished that I wasn’t watching what I eat so carefully because I would’ve eaten 4 or 5 the menu is FULL of delicious options to select from. Service was excellent. Clean environment and great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back.

“INDIO’s BEST MALTS! Lique is a hidden gem nestled inside Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino. It’s known for its ice cream, frozen yogurt, shakes, floats, malts, sundaes and amazing American fare. I’ve tried different items each time and all of them have been phenomenal. The ice cream is amazing, the shakes are nice and thick, and my recent malt was one the THEE best I’ve ever had. Malts can be made with ANY ice cream flavor that is available. I had mine made with cookies and cream, a major recommendation from me!

The malts were $8 bucks each, it’s a bit pricey but they use some of the best ingredients that I didn’t even care! I’ve tried the food and it’s also mouthwatering. There were good-sized hotdogs, pizzas and burgers available. The place is always packed and with good reason. The staff are super friendly and professional. The ladies working the front registers were cashiers AND order trackers. I appreciated that they were nice and loud when my order was ready! It’s louder in here so it’s very helpful. My order came out fast.

I spotted plenty of seating areas, however since it’s always packed it’s hard to find a seat for a group, let alone one person. You can always take your food outside as there’s an entrance to the Rockyard amphitheater nearby that has many more tables.”
