“Stopped at Shields today. We had breakfast, followed by a walk around the gardens. So many trees had fruit on them, just going to waste. Signs all over saying "don't pick the fruit." Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“

“Over the top amazing. The fish tacos were incredible, the chili relleno is something I always order. Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.“

“We have been coming to Taco Gonzales for YEARS, and it has truly become one of our family’s favorite places. The food is always delicious, but what really makes this place special is the people.
This is a family-run restaurant, and they genuinely make you feel like you’re part of their family. Armando, Anna, and Alex are the familiar faces we see most often, and their second son also helps in the kitchen. Every time we come in, we’re greeted with that warm, welcoming feeling that you just don’t get everywhere.
And I have to mention one very important detail: my youngest daughter LOVES the carne asada tacos here — tortillas and all! 😂 This is actually the ONLY place where she will eat the tortilla with her carne asada tacos. Anywhere else, she eats the carne and leaves the tortilla behind. So clearly, Taco Gonzales has figured out something special!
After all these years, we keep coming back not only because the food is so good, but because it feels like we’re visiting people we know and care about. If you’re in Indio and haven’t tried Taco Gonzales yet, you absolutely should. Support this wonderful family-owned business — you won’t regret it! ❤“

“We stopped in for a quick sit down meal on a road trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Kind of a cross between fast food and a dive diner, but excellent burgers and fresh, hot fries were served quickly by a very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices, as well.“

“Saintsteelwood is a live rock band and one of our favorite places to play is The Tack Room. We play feel good sounds of the swingin' 60's. Please come see us play and dance to our live music. There's a large dance area, friendly staff and great food. We play throughout the Coachella Valley. ✌️❤️“

“We had such a wonderful experience celebrating our daughter’s birthday at JOY this week!
When we initially called, it seemed like they might not be able to accommodate our large party, so we decided to go in person and speak with a manager. We are so glad we did!
When we arrived on Monday, everything was set up beautifully. Although our entire party wasn’t able to sit together, it honestly worked out perfectly and didn’t take away from the celebration at all.
The staff went above and beyond! Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, attentive, and efficient. We had SO much delicious food, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful.
We are forever thankful to the entire JOY team for helping make our daughter’s birthday celebration such a wonderful and memorable experience. Thank you for taking such great care of our family and guests! ❤“

“We so enjoyed our dinner tonight at Cork and Fork in La Quinta- delicious Vegan options- crispy cauliflower and the Brussels Sprouts starter were delicious- and the wines served on the Happy Hour menu were delightful! We’ll be back!“
