Over the top amazing. The fish tacos were incredible, the chili relleno is something I always order. Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.
We just had a fantastic dinner at El Mexicali Cafe II. We went at about 530pm on a Saturday. It was busy but we only waited for a few minutes for a table for 3. All 3 of us ordered a dish and just split everything which was perfect! Margaritas were great and food was absolutely fantastic. Our server Edwin was very attentive and knowledgeable and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of us. The sauce they use on the fajitas is just to die for. Server was very sweet, but the food lacked seasoning and the chili verde looked like dog food! Would not eat again unfortunately 😞
