“A combined birthday celebration and a 50th wedding anniversary. This was a big night out for the four of us, and it was a wonderful evening. Initially there was some confusion with the address and GPS because there are so many places called “Indian Wells”. And the building that IW Live is in looks like a private condo building. Perhaps when it was called Frank’s Place there wasn’t this confusion! Food and service was outstanding and we found the prices reflected the quality. The entertainment started promptly at 6pm. Marc Antonelli and Maureen MacDonald (a lovely Canadian singer!). There are two sets to their program. We wish we could have stayed for the second set, because the set list would have been more to our liking — more celebration music, rather than somber Classic (opera) music and a sad song to commemorate 9 / 11. The Prayer, by Carole Bayer Sager. But the singers have wonderful vocals!
To top the evening off, the staff presented our table with beautiful desserts, one for the birthday, one for the anniversary! Thank you!“

“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

Our server was not only our server, but also the bartender for the whole restaurant (I believe)! Food and service took a a few minutes longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. The restaurant manager checked in on us twice, making sure we were comfortable and happy. Anyone who has ever worked in the service industry would acknowledge how hard these individuals were working. I left completely full on amazing food, and completely impressed on the restaurant staff. 10/10 again. Thank you Si Bon staff and manger. <3“

My wife and I met the chef and she’s so passionate about her food and was very friendly. Think it may have been family working there every one was so polite and friendly engaged in conversation about Peru. My wife and I had the lomo saltado and I had to get the ceviche con chicharron it was absolutely delicious. We usually make stops throughout the places we visit to try the Peruvian food and this is it. The ceviche was fresh and had all the authentic ingredients it’s like if we were sitting in Peru eating. This is going to be our go to spot when visiting the area.“

“We just had a fantastic dinner at El Mexicali Cafe II. We went at about 530pm on a Saturday. It was busy but we only waited for a few minutes for a table for 3. All 3 of us ordered a dish and just split everything which was perfect! Margaritas were great and food was absolutely fantastic. Our server Edwin was very attentive and knowledgeable and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of us. The sauce they use on the fajitas is just to die for. We will be back and will recommend to family and friends.“

“Stopped at Shields today. We had breakfast, followed by a walk around the gardens. So many trees had fruit on them, just going to waste. Signs all over saying "don't pick the fruit." Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“

“My favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley, they maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere even during a lunch rush, the food is all of good quality and has never disappointed me. Many locals have been coming here for years and are pleasant to nod a head at. The Eggs Benedict with spinach on a crepe (potatoes provençales on the side) is my favorite order.
