“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

“Extremely lovely, unique cafe. The atmosphere, patrons, and barista really give it a vibe. During the week it’s a laptop and chill kind of place but people do chat and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Really a hidden gem in plain sight. “Came here looking at the good reviews. Ordered some food and coffee.
Was able to find a table immediately.
The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks.
I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue.
The chicken pesto sandwich was also yummy.
Overall everything tasted good.
P.S. They also gave the kids some activity to keep them busy, which was a plus.“

“Back for the second time and even more obsessed! This coffee shop is just the cutest. The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful with the menu, and it really adds to the experience. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me today, but it was totally worth the wait, and they still got the drinks out impressively fast. “They have some of the best ownership—it’s truly unbelievable. They are very well respected, kind, and have big hearts. The atmosphere is amazing, and everything is so clean. It used to be a Starbucks, but I honestly love this location much more than the one across the street. The employees are great as well—very friendly and welcoming. “The Coffee Bean in La Quinta CA was a wonderful option for those of us living in this area with only a Starbucks at every corner. My husband and I would go every Sunday as a treat for ourselves. The service was always great and we had been doing this for 15 years. I'm not sure why they had to close but we miss it so much. On top of my Sundays with my husband I treated myself to a white chocolate latte every Friday as a treat for getting through another week of work. I miss it so much. The closest Coffee Bean is in Palm Desert and it's way to far to detour on the way to work. Very sad please open another location closer to Indio and La Quinta.“

“We came here and there was already a line waiting out the door. When we got to the front, there were a bunch of samples to choose from. Everything looked really good. I sampled the Panna Cotta and it was light, smooth, creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I was very surprised actually at how much I liked it. I already had my two flavors in my mind, but I would definitely come back to try a scoop of that and an affogato.

I got a scoop of Espresso and Tiramisu in a cup with a waffle cone on top. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I loved the texture of the gelato, it was so creamy. Prices were a little steep, but the quality is undeniable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their flavors.

Service was good, it was busy with just two of them there serving a bunch of families in line. But they were very helpful and pleasant. I can't wait to swing by again when I'm back in the area.“

“Man first time coming here and the atmosphere feels modern very fresh, walking in into a modern barista bar , but for healthy people, I’ve got the breakfast bowl and it was the best food I’ve had believe me the chipotle sauce was fantastic left no crumbs. “We stopped at a Starbucks in a grocery store near our hotel. There was one person taking orders and making drinks for 8 people in front of us. While in line I googled directions to a stand alone Starbucks. We got in the car and drove 1.5 miles to this Starbucks where there were 10 baristas and two people ahead of us. The coffees were perfect, probably because the barista had one job and minimal stress.“

“I picked up some donuts for a few of our clients, but I struggled to carry all the boxes. Kenny noticed my difficulty and kindly offered to assist, despite being occupied with clients. Fortunately, some gentlemen also noticed my predicament and helped me transport all the donut boxes to my car in one trip.“

“Parking needs an additional disabled spot. Be careful with drivers - people don’t care how they drive through this parking lot. I wish we were able to purchase bread through the drive thru. I was told by one employee in store that I could but that wasn’t the case at the ordering point. Overall it’s always clean and they usually have a good amount and variety of breads available.“

“Food & coffee was excellent as usual. But for the first time ever, the staff and atmosphere were disappointing. No personal cup discount or stars, despite saying it at the time of order. Plus, I handed her my cup and she filled it (counter order). Then the topper! The most neglected bathroom that i have ever encountered at Starbucks. Trash all over the floors and the walls need to wiped once in a while. (Photos included)“

“A Starbucks these days is just a Starbucks. The chain that launched a thousand real estate careers has pretty much homogenized itself into just another coffee shop. The thrill of going into the warm, inviting "third place" is gone. The Christmas time thrill of the "magic", not so much.

This location stands out a little, it still has seats around small tables, a community high top and one or two padded chairs. The wi-fi is still free and there are a pretty good number of electric outlets. But its all-neutral colors and hard edges. And a not too easy drive-thru lane.

But, the crew here is particularly sharp, they understand how to run the place and seldom get it wrong. The drive thru staff is efficient, they usually have pleasant words. Yeah, there are other locations that are closer, but this is the one we like the best.

I like Starbucks Coffee. It is my favorite; I used to go every day. Now it's once or twice a week. It is not as warm and welcoming. The prices seem to increase by the order, and long before "inflation" gave an excuse. Others, like San Diego's Buzz have the edge on ambiance now.

Remember when they promised coffee would always be their core product. Now you're lucky to find a package of beans at a Starbucks.

Parking: The lot is small, there is parking in the center lot, but not close and you have to cross a travel lane. They have occasional jam ups.“

“I frequently stay at the complex next door and this is my go to place for fresh delicious sandwiches and salads.
The only negative is that $2.50 for one banana is a bit much 😆
I had the Mediterranean salad tonight and it was enough for 2 people and so fresh and delicious. The servers were very friendly and kind.“
