“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

The place is attended by its owner Tara, who is such a chatty, ally, and kind person. The place is decorated with that Palm Springs MCM style and just has such a cute ambiance of its own.

The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. “We stayed nearby in La Quinta for a week and came here just about every single morning, even on the weekends when the line stretched over an hour! It's well worth it and understandable why it's so popular. I tried the lavender latte, viet coffee, matcha latte, and croissant breakfast sandwich several times - all solid. Everything coming out of their kitchen turned our heads 'cause it looked so good.

FYI it's counter service and open seating. No reservations.“

Along with a hot Vanilla Latte, I ordered a blueberry muffin- “warm please”. It was delicious, soft and airy, with a nice amount of blueberries. It’s a good portion size and I only ate half, the rest of the portion I had the following morning… it was still fresh, soft and airy. If you have a sweet tooth for blueberries, the Blueberry Muffin is a good choice.

This location has a drive thru, the barista who took our order car side had such a great attitude, very polite and friendly. Considering the triple digit weather, his customer service was stellar!

Aside from the muffin, I ordered a hot Vanilla Latte. It was okay, it was an ordinary drink.

If you’re ever in La Quinta, I would suggest stopping by.“

“I loved this place. My wife and I enjoyed a date day today, and this was one of the stops that helped make it a great experience.

The quality of the gelato is on point, the service is on point, and considering the location, quality, and what other places charge, I’d say this place is a hidden gem.

We had a freshly made waffle cone topped with strawberry and peach gelato, and it was excellent. The Mrs. had an affogato that she thoroughly enjoyed as well.

Too bad we didn’t take pictures—everything looked as good as it tasted. We’ll definitely be back!

“Just stopped in this cafe at the suggestion of a store clerk in this shopping center and I’m so glad I took her advice. Calm, cute, clean breakfast/lunch/coffee/wine spot. The Mama Mia panini is excellent— I was surprised at the caliber of the panini (flavorful and very fresh!), it tastes like I’m at a fancy sitdown restaurant! Service was great too. Cute dishes too!“

Plus, I handed her my cup and she filled it (counter order). Then the topper! The most neglected bathroom that i have ever encountered at Starbucks. “We stopped at a Starbucks in a grocery store near our hotel. There was one person taking orders and making drinks for 8 people in front of us. While in line I googled directions to a stand alone Starbucks. We got in the car and drove 1.5 miles to this Starbucks where there were 10 baristas and two people ahead of us. The coffees were perfect, probably because the barista had one job and minimal stress.“

“Always enjoy having a good starbucks on site at the JW Marriott here in Palm Dessert. It opens at 530am and closes at 2pm. Be prepared as the line is always long unless you get there early, but the staff was very cheerful and helpful when I was there for a couple of days. Got my OG iced Carmel Macchiato. See you next year when we return.

“I had the Iced Elephant Vanilla Chai and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. The chai was amazing! Tasted delicious, and was a lot of tea, even though the size was 'medium .' The bagel was toasted perfectly. I had planned to eat half and take half home, but it was so good I ate the whole thing!“

“Parking needs an additional disabled spot. Be careful with drivers - people don’t care how they drive through this parking lot. I wish we were able to purchase bread through the drive thru. “I have gotten Boba here a few times, but this was the first time I actually went inside. Staff was friendly and patient since my wife let me try to pick something on my own... The interior is bright and modern and they do have a large selection of beverages as well as random knick knacks everywhere. My wife ordered the Brown Sugar (her favorite) and I tried the Hokkaido for the first time. Their containers are interesting, but functional and I must say the beverage was a perfect sweet treat while running around town that day.
