The Sands Hotel team recently managed to snag one of the 3 best bartenders (Ryan Z) in Palm Springs to manage their Pink Cabana cocktail program; Palm Springs loss is most definitely their gain (and worth the short drive).

The space itself is gorgeous; the kind of slightly hidden hotel that you sorta’ have to know about. Enter through the grand double doors into the hotel lobby and through yet another set of doors, and a stunning pool area and restaurant unfold in front of your eyes. The vibe feels a bit like something out of a 1950’s movie. Just as importantly however is the quality of the food and drinks. Spot on!

Now that this unique Indian Wells space has brought in Ryan; it will get even better. I’ve definitely found a new spot worth leaving Palm Springs for.“

“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

From the minute Helen greets us at the door until the wait staff comes to serve me coffee and water, I am always greeted with a smile. Servers Rafi, Rudy, Antonio, and Veronica are efficient and prompt in getting my order to my satisfaction. The cooks provide consistently attractive food, and my order arrives just the way I like it. “Stopped in for breakfast before heading back to the San Fernando Valley after a weekend in La Quinta and were glad we did.

This place definitely has the feel of a local favorite, which is always a good sign. There was a wait for indoor seating, but we were seated on the patio right away.

Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive throughout our meal. The breakfast menu had so many good options that choosing was the hardest part. I ordered the Country Breakfast with over-easy eggs and hash browns, while my husband went with the breakfast burrito.

The restaurant was busy, so there was a bit of a wait for our food, but it was completely understandable and the staff did a great job keeping our coffee and water topped off in the meantime.

When our meals arrived, we were surprised by the portion sizes—everything was huge and absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

If we lived locally, this would definitely become a regular breakfast spot. Highly recommended!“

“It was all OK... The tri trip and pulled pork was pretty moist. Portions were good and the value of my meal excellent.

The Mac & Cheese didn't dry out and the corn (IMHO) was very very good...couldn't eat the bread which seemed like a basic, grilled hot dog bun.

The worse part are the water cups, so tiny... I had to make 4 trips to the cooler to refill. Hated that part.“

“Wow! I’m so blown away by this PHENOMENAL pizza place. My new favorite! Staff were awesome and I settled on a Hot Honey Pepperoni. I’m normally not a fan of thick pizzas but this just WORKS. I’ve had GOOD pizzas, but it’s been over a decade since I’ve had an innovative one. These are works of art, very well done. I love the rockabilly vibe too. “It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!“

“What a great restaurant that embodies diners from the 60s. We went for breakfast at 7am during the summer, and they weren't busy at all. First off, the pancakes are huge and delicious. All breakfast prices are reasonable. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean. There are lots of seats around the counter that remind you of soda fountains from the past. If you are not looking for fancy but just good food at reasonable prices, this is a great option!“

“Love this bread store. I think it has a tremendous value to access to a family owned business thay specialized on bread. The prices are slightly high. May be the portions are smaller than expected but good quality. My wish is thay they have more of fresh bread that have good fresh crust. Highly recommended.“

The fish was incredibly fresh, and you can actually taste the quality in every bite. What I appreciated the most is that the rolls weren’t overloaded with rice—they were packed with fish, which made it feel like I was truly getting my money’s worth. You can tell the chef really cares about what they’re putting out. This is officially the only sushi spot I’ll be going to from now on. Highly recommend.“

“Big Rock is not a gimmicky theme restaurant. It is a wealthy Canadian food/logistics entrepreneur’s passion project, built like a rock and roll clubhouse with real money behind it. The food is apparently taken seriously, not treated as an afterthought, and the ambiance is probably the main event. Think upscale, over-the-top, music-memorabilia golf pub rather than a tired chain restaurant with guitars on the wall.“

“I've come here more times than I can count and it's always delicious. There aren't many GOOD vegan options in the Coachella Valley, but the tofu bahn mi from here is superb!! If you're vegan or avoiding dairy you can order a tofu banh mi without mayonnaise. They also have vegan tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. The lemonade and teas from here are also delicious and refreshing. The staff is always kind and will answer any questions you may have. Overall, this is a lovely spot to get some good food 😋 I highly recommend it to vegans and meat eaters alike.“

“Over the top amazing. The fish tacos were incredible, the chili relleno is something I always order. Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.“

I don't remember the name of the dishes we tried but the pin wheel shrimp and the pork Fajitas are just incredible. If you're in Palm Desert you have to try Guillmores!!! Definitely worth the trip“
