“This place is my all time favorite restaurant to eat in the Coachella Valley. Buzz always has the best recommendations for beer, the cocktails are fantastic, and the food is always fresh and tasty. We lived in Palm Desert for about 11 years and every time we’re back in town we make sure to come by here to grab a drink and some snacks. “Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. Stopped in for drinks and sushi while at the Marriott. Our serving staff and support were Gerardo, another Veronica, David, Ricky and Jennifer all amazing individuals. We have known Gerardo for years and he a terrific individual. The ambiance was upbeat and positive and the sushi quite good.
I often state that people and relationship far exceed the location or event and here at JW you get the best of both worlds. The music duo was good and the food, service and staff were simply amazing. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place to chill, enjoy a few drinks, grab some fresh sushi and listen to live music. Ricky was our server on Saturday night and was very efficient, professional and kind. We have been going to this spot for about 8 years and just thoroughly enjoy the vibe and ambiance. We started with Don Julio Blanco, club soda, 3 limes muddled and mint and then ordered the crunchy roll and jw roll. I also had a ceasar salad. The two entertainers were fantastic and played a wide range of rock and roll and country hits. The customer service and overall experience were simply therapeutic. Highly recommended.“

“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

I didn’t wait more than a minute for someone to come say “hi”, Carlos was the first to help me. Andre was the next to help. Both were super nice and made my day.
Carlos has been bartending for 17 years and it shows. He has great suggestions on the food menu, and made a perfect cocktail exactly the way it should be.

“It has a great atmosphere and the music is really good. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the bathrooms were quite dirty — and since it’s a place where a lot of girls go, we definitely expect cleaner restrooms. Other than that, it’s in a great location and it’s a fun spot overall.“

“My experience at DSRT CLUB was stellar and judging by how busy it was on a Monday night from opening at 5 until 6:15 when my party left, I think that sentiment is shared. The food is perfectly seasoned, sauced and curated for a delicious dinner to share or for yourself. “We were here in Palm Desert for a competition and one of our parents recommended we try this spot. Great margaritas and absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I don't remember the name of the dishes we tried but the pin wheel shrimp and the pork Fajitas are just incredible. If you're in Palm Desert you have to try Guillmores!!! Definitely worth the trip“

“I chanced on this place from a person I met at a bar downtown DHS. Looks kinda trashy from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. The best Karaoke experience I've ever had and I do it a lot. A real stage, stage lighting, smoke machines and friggin A, an actual guitar player who looks like Mick Mars playing along if he knows the song and he seemed to know them all! I sang Black Keys, Deep Purple and The Who so right up his alley. Redd was impressed enough that he bought me a shot after I sang The Seeker, never had a DJ buy me a drink! Both the bartenders were super nice and drinks were really inexpensive so this place freaking rocks. Great crowd too, lots of really friendly locals. And also get this, the place has several pool tables, the longest shuffleboard I've ever seen and dog friendly too!“

“Had a fantastic experience at the Hideout yesterday. We couldn’t get a table at another restaurant for an hour so while we were waiting we walked around and saw a guitarist setting up at that Hideaway. They let us know that they opened at 11:00, but the waiter arranged for us to sit in the patio and got us drinks while we waited for a few minutes. The food was very good, my burger was the best burger I have ever had and it came out as ordered (no bun/no cheese). I chose a drink off the menu (Strawberry Mule) and ordered it as a mocktail, refreshing and delicious. The service was delightful and the music lovely. Definitely going back.“

My family planned a last minute lunch celebration for my 40th birthday with 18 people at peak lunch hour on a Sunday, so we expected to wait a bit, but didn't mind sitting on the patio and thought we could be seated quicker that way, however, the winds got too bad for anyone to sit outside with chairs blowing over, but somehow Jaime figured out how to arrange some tables to seat us inside in around 15 minutes! I was really impressed. Give that man a raise!! He's a great manager!“

There, must have been a convention or something lots of people wearing name tags flooded the restaurant right about noon simultaneously. In the span of just a couple minutes all the tables were filled and people were standing and waiting. Everything was good, just be aware, large events can completely saturate the restaurant's availability, In the blink of an eye.“

The fresh chips and salsa are top notch, fresh and delicious. I appreciate a full serving with rice and beans with each entree. And fresh tortillas. The price is an excellent value at about $18-$19 for each entree. You certainly get your moneys worth. We had margaritas at the bar. They were fantastic!

“This is a great smaller casino. They have the friendliest staff I've ever seen in any casino I've been to on the planet. Forget about Vegas if you want to have some fun on some top quality slots, just go here.

I'm only visiting from the East coast but wanted to play. Found it on Google Maps as it's not too far from my hotel. So glad I did because I hit a few times and even walked out ahead. (Gotta stay disciplined 😉)

You have to pay for your drinks but they're decently priced and the food options were pretty good.

“Went to a 5pm fundraiser. Clearly they let an entire restaurant in early. There was not one seat available at 5. It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. Too much competition around El Paseo to ever go back.“

“My boyfriend (a competitive pool player) and I are in town visiting and needed a place to practice. This place has 3 nice pool tables and everyone is super nice. We talked to the owner for a bit and he is such a nice, down to earth guy. Some of these reviews state otherwise but from my experience those people just need something to complain about. Great atmosphere and people. Will be coming here everytime we visit.“

“I have visited Larkspur Grill on many occasions. This is truly the only time where they've just not hit the mark. We were stuck off to the side of the stage with very bright (not traditional restaurant lighting but, more importantly, the meals just weren't very good! I had the swordfish and it was over-the-top salty. My date had the salmon and it too was salty and slightly burnt on one side. Sneaky of the kitchen staff to turn the burnt side down and still serve it.

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
