“If you need a dive bar with an amazing burger & great music, this is your place! (Note: DIVE bar!!) We sat at the bar and chatted with Amy, who was hilarious ?I’m not much of a burger person but when I am, I go for it. I got the Everything Burger and regretted nothing: Two patties, cheese, bacon, avocado, pickles, jalapeños, you name it ?Burger and beers, oh my!“
“This bar is top notch! They have a wonderful staff who genuinely care about you. The beverages are ice cold if you prefer them that way and they don't skimp on making sure you get your money's worth. It's a great environment that welcomes all sorts of people from different walks of life, taste in music, they even have a pool table! If you're feeling down and need to be picked up this is the place to go. They recently remodeled the inside of the place and it looks amazing! If you're looking for trouble you will not find it here, sorry about that but it's for a great time only. I love the people and when Toby Keith sang the song, "I Love This Bar" I know he was singing about Escapades! So cheers to everyone“
“Went to Palm Springs for dinner and came across The Front Porch with good reviews on google maps and we know why it’s so highly rated after trying. The atmosphere, food and staff service were amazing! We were served by Justin who is extremely friendly and makes us feel very welcomed. His recommendations were all on point and we have to recommend them as well. The baked Brie, beef carpaccio, shrimp ceviche and tuna Ahi lettuce wraps coupled with their amazing cocktails. The prices in this restaurant are also extremely affordable given the quality ingredients that they served. Will totally recommend this place if you’re in Palm Springs and you will definitely not forget“
“I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco and my wife had the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Shrimp. Both meals were excellent, as was the service from our server Scott. We’ve been to this restaurant many time and every time have been very happy with the food, the service and the vibe. Great people watching too! We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“First Impression for us was it was very clean...Patricia the lady who greeted and served was very pleasant, and accommodating, also compliments to the cook the food was appealing, delicious, and satisfying will be returning again with family and friends, worth every penny.“
“PaulBar is our go to restaurant when we arrive from LA and when we leave to LA! Paul is an amazing host, the food is delicious and the drinks are on point! The restaurant has an east coast pub vibe and the service is excellent. It's definitely our top pick dinner restaurant in the desert area!“
“"Ruben's Special" was delicious. Plenty of seafood in the dish and a flavorful broth too.The raw oysters were fresh, tasty, and cleanly presented BUT I did not appreciate having to finish shucking my own oysters with a butter knife. Suggestion: coach the kitchen staff to properly release the aductor muscle from BOTH shells.Atmosphere is pleasant but noisy....in a good way.“
“Today we went to “Thirsty Palms”. We chose this restaurant because of its varied menu and reasonable prices. We don't regret our choice. The burgers and fries were very good. Spaghetti with shrimp was generously seasoned with garlic and tasted really delicious. The Margherita pizza was huge and my child really enjoyed it. The service was nice and accommodating. A successful end to the day!“
“Wonderful place. The owners are welcoming and always interested in input to give suggestions how to improve service. I spoke to Kelle one of the owners today. I didn't eat here, because of an issue initially with separate checks for a group, however in the end the group did get to do separate checks. Will go back to eat in the future because Kelle was so kind to call me.“
“Excellent service all across the board; they acknowledge us right away food came out fast and overall was very pleased with our service definitely recommend this place and definitely will be bringing my family in the future!! Thank you for your amazing service!!“
“While eating at the neighboring El Salvador Cafe, we saw the bright colors on the patio of Loco Charlie's and decided to dine here for lunch the next day. Beto greeted us and let us select any of the tables inside or outside. After we chose one on the patio, he brought over our waters, a basket of chips and two bowls of salsa. The first serving of chips and salsa comes free, but it's an extra cost if you want a refill. The menu here is so extensive and they offer basically everything (and probably more) than what you'd expect at a Mexican restaurant. Beto recommended the fajitas so that helped me narrow down my decision. Overall, he was super personable and we enjoyed conversing with him, connecting on the topic of the Pacific Northwest. CHICKEN FAJITAS ($21.99): A HUGE serving which I'm sure could easily be two portions for many people. The chicken became a little dry as it continued cooking on the sizzling plate, but it had good flavor from a savory and slightly sweet marinade. The peppers and onions were still somewhat crisp and had developed a nice char. A separate plate contained two tortillas, Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. For the price, the amount of food was quite generous. I had enough leftovers to make for a light dinner. If you are in the mood for fajitas, but want a smaller serving, consider getting the Fajita Tacos. It's the fajita meat and vegetables, assembled into taco form, also served with a side of beans and rice. Throughout lunch, Beto provided great service and stopped by a couple times to check on us. The owner, Charlie, was also helping out that day and visited our table to say hello. Everyone in my group was happy with their meals, so I'd consider this a solid spot for Mexican food. Side notes: - There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located alongside other shops and eateries. - The restaurant is not far from the airport. With planes taking off every few minutes, it is pretty loud, so the patio isn't the best place to hold a conversation.“
“Martini Time ?•Stopped in while on vacation in Palm Springs for afternoon cocktail. Chose to sit outside on the patio because… why not ??♂️ Friendly, fast service with delish drinks to choose from. Really enjoyed this outdoor spot and would like to come back for some foods when we are in town ?“
“Food was incredible. Whatever your diet, keto, paleo, carnivore, vegetarian....thus place has it...fresh, wholesome, variety packed. The rotisserie yams....must have.Service not so much. I would have told the manager this but he disappeared half way thru my meal. You know simple things like"Hello my name is such and such how are you today?"Or"Your food will be out in a few minutes"Or"Sorry the check took 30 minutes to bring, I hope you have a good day"Ps please bring appetizers out first not w meal“
“Stopped in here with a small group on a Friday night, so I expected it to be busy. It was. However! The server, bartender and other staff were all incredibly friendly and nice, helpful, etc. We essentially came here to try the World Famous Fish Tacos and man o man, they did NOT disappoint. I had the cod, my fiancee had the shrimp and her brother had the Ahi. Everyone enjoyed each of the tacos. We live in Seattle, so authentic Mexican food that is actually good, is pretty rare. Especially fish tacos. These were off the charts. Seriously, we heard about this place on one of the food network shows, not sure which. Either way, it was a great suggestion. If I lived in PS, I'd be there every week.Only one less point because we were unsure where to go or sit when we arrived and it was loud/confusing due to live music. Not at all complaining about that, just was confusing and took a few moments to figure everything out. After that, everything was amazing. Would definitely return if/when I go back to PS.“
“Someone recommended we stop into this small restaurant and bar right on Arenas near all the gay bars. Wonderful place with great staff and great food. My husband had the lobster eggs Benedict and he said it's the best he has ever had. I had the wedge salad and the pork potstickers. We both had drinks. Everything was amazing and we highly recommend this place. Their outdoor patio is very cute and good for people watching and great view of the mountains. Our server, Tara, was awesome!!“
“We had a fantastic few day stay at La Serena. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and welcoming. The bathrooms are huge. We had an outdoor spa that we did not use, so no insights there. The location is great - walk to everything with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast (which was included) was very good, and we had excellent dinner and drinks at the restaurant one evening. The pool was really nice. My only complaint would be that there is not enough seating/lounges for guests. On one day at least two sets of lounges were marked reserved but no one was using them when we walked by the pool earlier and then returned to swim several hours later. So we had no seats while they sat open for more than an hour. At this price you should be able to fully use the pool.“
“This is a nice little bar with a huge window. I've been meaning to have a drink here for a few years now. I forgot his name but the bartender was very nice and you could tell he likes his job. We got there and ordered a drink, and we're lucky enough to get a free order of some delicious bread sticks. The drink was very tasty for a decent price, so I would come back for more drinks.“
“This bar is outside the Hyatt Palm Springs. Had lunch there. I had the ceasar salad and the fish tacos and they were delicious. The tacos were flavorful and the ceasar had tons of parmesan and the dressing was homemade. Good atmosphere and right in the center of everything in Palm Springs. Service and staff were very nice too.“
“We were taking a morning walk and couldn't get over this cool bar and the amazing TV screen! We decided to walk back and have breakfast with a bloody, I'm so glad we did! Troy was very hospitable from the moment we walked in! Sat at the bar and had a drink within 10 minutes! Fantastic service! The food was great, I had the carne asada Benedict and hubby had tacos. We wiped out plates clean! So so good! Take the extra effort and seek out this place when you visit Palm Springs! It's so worth it!“
“Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Will be my new dinner date night spot. They have more then pasta but that doesn't take away from the quality. Worth the time the drive and every cent spent. I even met the owner and she was a gem. She really cares about the customers and doesn't hide from them. She helps her staff when it's busy. If I could give more stars I would but alas all I can give is 5Parking: No issue cause there's plenty of placesKid-friendliness: I'm sitting next to a bunch of kids right now as I type this while waiting for the bill and my to go desert.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to park and get out and no obstacles to the table or bathroom“
“Happy New 2024 Year Palm Springs!!! Complementary food, complementary French, champagne, DJ spinning some bomb-Ass tunes all night, and a very happy crowd. All were satisfied and ALL were in the mood to party! No other place to get your drink on than at STREETBAR on Arenas Road .... Palm Springs, Ca.“
“We've eaten at Bongo Johnny's on each of our 3 visits to Palm Springs. The food is consistently very good! The staff is amazingly polite and accommodating. And the outside patio is delightful!!Kid-friendliness: Perfectly fine for families and childrenWheelchair accessibility: Even though it is on the second floor, there is an elevator in the rear.“
“Ambiance is great. Love the decor. I was disappointed this time though. Service was slow and then at the end it seemed we were being rushed out. My stuff poblano was delicious but the yuca fries were rock hard and the pollo blanco was exceptionally dry. Disappointing given I had a great experience last year.“
“We were here yesterday, early evening. Our experience was fantastic?Matt our server was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Our drinks were so good, I had the Friendo and my husband had the Buggy Whip- both delicious! Our yucca fries were so good we ended up getting 2 orders? Loved it and next time we're in town we'll be back!!?“
“Much appreciation for the help having my special event in there banquet room I had about 35 guests and it was a great space great bartender that was very attentive and great drinks it was the perfect venue for what I needed many thanks highly recommend“
“It's the dining room of the golf club house there. Reservations are a must since it is a smaller establishment. There is a bar area next to it. Free parking. Commanding desert views. There are also different food events in the evenings. There won't be a wide variety of menu items but enough that everyone should be satisfied with their order. Friendly staff and their hostess there has personality. They offer complimentary french bread and butter.Bar and food prices very reasonable for all that you get. Many happy diners.“
