“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

“Went here to celebrate my son's graduation from college. We had a fantastic experience. We started off with some appetizers drinks. I had the avocado taco salad. The food was excellent. We all indulged in a mai tai, they were perfect. We can't wait to dine here again. The atmosphere was great, our server was very pleasant. The espresso Martini was just incredible, so smooth cold and delicious. The raspberry Lemon Drop was the best, not sweet not too tart just perfect. Next was the blueberry Kinsey equally amazing!

These are truly perfectly made drinks! If you’re looking for true martinis this is it!

“We had a wonderful dinner the food and the service was wonderful. However, we made reservations for a birthday celebration and we seated at a very small table in the bar instead of a booth. It would've been nice to know that as neither I don't drink and didn't like being right next to bar while I celebrated my birthday. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside we said inside, but didn't assume we will be sitting in the bar. We didn't come for happy hour. We came for a celebratory meal for $150. I would've appreciated being sad at a booth other than that fabulous food and great service.“

The younger club crowd enjoys the bar after 9 p.m. Friday nights always draw a big crowd of all ages. A line to get in forms around 4 p.m. Takes about 20 minutes to get inside once a line forms. Plenty of special events at night such as guest singers on the weekend and karaoke Sunday to Tuesday after 9 p.m. This is the kind of place where the bartenders get to know you and remember your drinks. In addition to the great vibe, the chandelier over the main bar is decorated for seasonal holidays. Very attractive.“

It was so warm, and what could have been a pleasant evening in a cute, covered, outdoor setting was much less so. The food was fine and interesting, but I think that a new manager and staff training would help this venue. The staff (in general) seemed very disinterested in the guests. The Panty has potential, and I'm not happy to write a less than stellar review, but I'm just being honest.“

“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. “The menu is limited but anything we ordered was delicious! Prices are a little high but no more so than any other resort property. Staff was friendly and fun and they all made excellent drinks. You do have to walk up to order but they will deliver to your poolside chairs.
It can get hectic though, especially at peak pool hours on the week end.
On the downside, the open hours are quite short--opening fairly late for breakfast (9am) and closing early as well (7 pm). Had the hours been longer we would have used them more.“

Stopped in for drinks and sushi while at the Marriott. Our serving staff and support were Gerardo, another Veronica, David, Ricky and Jennifer all amazing individuals. We have known Gerardo for years and he a terrific individual. The ambiance was upbeat and positive and the sushi quite good.
I often state that people and relationship far exceed the location or event and here at JW you get the best of both worlds. The music duo was good and the food, service and staff were simply amazing. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place to chill, enjoy a few drinks, grab some fresh sushi and listen to live music. Ricky was our server on Saturday night and was very efficient, professional and kind. We have been going to this spot for about 8 years and just thoroughly enjoy the vibe and ambiance. We started with Don Julio Blanco, club soda, 3 limes muddled and mint and then ordered the crunchy roll and jw roll. I also had a ceasar salad. The two entertainers were fantastic and played a wide range of rock and roll and country hits. The customer service and overall experience were simply therapeutic. Highly recommended.“

“The “Red Steak” was a 10/10 perfectly season! If you pair it with the mussels you are in for an even bigger treat! Personally would skip the Jamba if you want an authentic jambalaya. It was personally too sweet but the shrimp were cooked perfectly! Overall DSRT CLUB is a must if you are in the area“

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs.

We opted for some fresh lighter bites .
Surprisingly vegan friendly & easily modified menu items . I ordered the watermelon salad omit the mozzarella.
Delicious ! I’m an iced tea junkie and the tea here was refreshing .

What stood out here was the service ——- the staff was on it and we had plenty of smiles checking in on us .

“My knowledge base is one visit on December 23. I found Tryst to be a fun and inviting place. The barter was attentive. It was a mixed (age, gender) and friendly crowd. I am not aware of a food menu and therefore didn’t rate. To me it was a bit more relaxed than the nearby Arenas venues. I’d come back anytime for a drink and chat with friends. Patrons were laughing and having a good time. The “vibe” was good.“

“I chanced on this place from a person I met at a bar downtown DHS. Looks kinda trashy from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. The best Karaoke experience I've ever had and I do it a lot. A real stage, stage lighting, smoke machines and friggin A, an actual guitar player who looks like Mick Mars playing along if he knows the song and he seemed to know them all! I sang Black Keys, Deep Purple and The Who so right up his alley. Redd was impressed enough that he bought me a shot after I sang The Seeker, never had a DJ buy me a drink! Both the bartenders were super nice and drinks were really inexpensive so this place freaking rocks. Great crowd too, lots of really friendly locals. And also get this, the place has several pool tables, the longest shuffleboard I've ever seen and dog friendly too!“
