“We dine here all the time but this last Thursday our server was Melissa and her service was outstanding. We even brought it to the attention of the Manager Chance who was very friendly and welcoming. She was also very friendly & fast. Food was delicious. We will definitely be returning for our usual; steak bowl & filet mignon.“
“A pleasant surprise. Beautiful heated patio on a bright but chilly afternoon. Quiet and quite posh. Not overrun with the winter tourist crowd. Excellent, courteous service that you would expect from the Omni brand. Small lunch menu with delicious options. Perfectly seared ahi. Pull up at the porte cochere for valet parking.“
“We were in town for the weekend and a friend recommended this spot to us. Here's our experience on a Saturday evening:Ambiance: Parking was easy as the venue is located in a plaza with plenty of available spaces. There are several seating options available, including inside, outside, bar style, and extra seating for larger groups. The venue can accommodate around 60 people. The overall feel of the place is great - it's like a downtown vibe without actually being in downtown. The DJ played a mix of samba and pop music and there were games and photo opportunities available. It's a fun and playful spot.Food: We tried the Mint Mojito and it was excellent - reasonably priced, generously portioned, and packed with flavor.Customer Service: The servers were friendly and our orders arrived quickly.Overall: We give this spot 4 stars for its great vibes, reasonable prices, and delicious drinks. It was a great place to hang out with friends and we wouldn't hesitate to come back if we're in the area again.“
“What a treat after our round of golf. Our partners happened to have the same plans for dinner as we, so met for a cocktail then seated together for dinner. ~Exceptional service ~ Live music was in the background ?? ~ High marks for food quality Rarely do you experience 5⭐️ all around, as we did last night. Thank you for all the staff efforts that go into making it happen.“
“The food was amazing and the service was excellent (thank you, Frank). I had the Seabass, and it was as good as I've ever had anywhere. The potatoes they served with it were off the charts. it was a rare treat to have food this good at a hotel restaurant.“
“Went to Palm Springs for dinner and came across The Front Porch with good reviews on google maps and we know why it’s so highly rated after trying. The atmosphere, food and staff service were amazing! We were served by Justin who is extremely friendly and makes us feel very welcomed. His recommendations were all on point and we have to recommend them as well. The baked Brie, beef carpaccio, shrimp ceviche and tuna Ahi lettuce wraps coupled with their amazing cocktails. The prices in this restaurant are also extremely affordable given the quality ingredients that they served. Will totally recommend this place if you’re in Palm Springs and you will definitely not forget“
“Finally nabbed a reservation just to find out what all the hype was about. Well it’s for real! Bar Cecil delivered! Ollie (sp?) was our server and she was great! We tried the caviar - which comes with a vodka shot - and it was delicious. Went on to classic Steak/frites. The steak was delicious and prepared exactly to our different specifications. The fries were great, just the right amount of seasoning. We had their raspberry and merengue dessert. Nice selection of wine as well. The atmosphere was convivial and all the wait staff was friendly. Thank you Bar Cecil and Ollie for a great night and satisfying meal.“
“I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco and my wife had the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Shrimp. Both meals were excellent, as was the service from our server Scott. We’ve been to this restaurant many time and every time have been very happy with the food, the service and the vibe. Great people watching too! We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This is a super fun place. Good people and good entertainment. We felt like we stepped back in time. The food and drinks were terrific and the atmosphere is one of a kind. We sat on the front row table and what a great seat it was. Go here if you have time!!“
“PaulBar is our go to restaurant when we arrive from LA and when we leave to LA! Paul is an amazing host, the food is delicious and the drinks are on point! The restaurant has an east coast pub vibe and the service is excellent. It's definitely our top pick dinner restaurant in the desert area!“
“"Ruben's Special" was delicious. Plenty of seafood in the dish and a flavorful broth too.The raw oysters were fresh, tasty, and cleanly presented BUT I did not appreciate having to finish shucking my own oysters with a butter knife. Suggestion: coach the kitchen staff to properly release the aductor muscle from BOTH shells.Atmosphere is pleasant but noisy....in a good way.“
“Today we went to “Thirsty Palms”. We chose this restaurant because of its varied menu and reasonable prices. We don't regret our choice. The burgers and fries were very good. Spaghetti with shrimp was generously seasoned with garlic and tasted really delicious. The Margherita pizza was huge and my child really enjoyed it. The service was nice and accommodating. A successful end to the day!“
“Wonderful place. The owners are welcoming and always interested in input to give suggestions how to improve service. I spoke to Kelle one of the owners today. I didn't eat here, because of an issue initially with separate checks for a group, however in the end the group did get to do separate checks. Will go back to eat in the future because Kelle was so kind to call me.“
“Always on the search for a good wood fired pizza we found it here! Started with cocktails which were good also tried the Boom Boom Shrimp. Delicious! On to the pizzas...that and a glass of wine was PERFECT! Sausage & peppers on one, pepperoni & basil on the other. Crust was amazingly delicious, the sauce and mozzarella were so flavorful. Will be back for more soon.“
“While eating at the neighboring El Salvador Cafe, we saw the bright colors on the patio of Loco Charlie's and decided to dine here for lunch the next day. Beto greeted us and let us select any of the tables inside or outside. After we chose one on the patio, he brought over our waters, a basket of chips and two bowls of salsa. The first serving of chips and salsa comes free, but it's an extra cost if you want a refill. The menu here is so extensive and they offer basically everything (and probably more) than what you'd expect at a Mexican restaurant. Beto recommended the fajitas so that helped me narrow down my decision. Overall, he was super personable and we enjoyed conversing with him, connecting on the topic of the Pacific Northwest. CHICKEN FAJITAS ($21.99): A HUGE serving which I'm sure could easily be two portions for many people. The chicken became a little dry as it continued cooking on the sizzling plate, but it had good flavor from a savory and slightly sweet marinade. The peppers and onions were still somewhat crisp and had developed a nice char. A separate plate contained two tortillas, Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. For the price, the amount of food was quite generous. I had enough leftovers to make for a light dinner. If you are in the mood for fajitas, but want a smaller serving, consider getting the Fajita Tacos. It's the fajita meat and vegetables, assembled into taco form, also served with a side of beans and rice. Throughout lunch, Beto provided great service and stopped by a couple times to check on us. The owner, Charlie, was also helping out that day and visited our table to say hello. Everyone in my group was happy with their meals, so I'd consider this a solid spot for Mexican food. Side notes: - There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located alongside other shops and eateries. - The restaurant is not far from the airport. With planes taking off every few minutes, it is pretty loud, so the patio isn't the best place to hold a conversation.“
“I love their veal piccata and their side dish of polenta. Their special carrots are very good too. Friends we took for the first time were very pleased with their lasagna and special rigatoni, prepared carbonara style. The entree sizes are just right for our appetites. The cannolis, as with all their desserts, are made daily there. Tasty!“
“Fun place to get a cocktail. Caters to a gay clientele, but ok for straight folks too. Live music, open mic. No food, but you can order from nearby restaurants to eat here. Inside & outside seating. Plenty of parking around the movie theater.Kid-friendliness: Must be 21 to enter“
“Located in the Caliente Tropic resort. Same building as the reef but more low key and better lighting. Walk through Gauchos restaurant and arrive at Le Fern. If your lucky you get a seat at the bar and get to talk with Matty. No draft beers but beer offerings are kept cold and provided with chilled glass. We enjoyed Mattys company and listening to his stories about past work lifes. We also ordered calamari which I would pass on next time. Was expecting rings and got calamari in shape of tootsie roll. All in all a very nice time and place to have a beverage or two.“
“We had a wonderful meal! Beet salad, sushi, calamari, cob salad were so tasty. But the meatball appetizer was the best! Lots of Basil and delicious sauce. The manager was so helpful and made special arrangements so we could eat outside. Thanks for a lovely evening!Vegetarian options: Not sure“
“Great spot for a great meal at a great price. Our group of 5 all enjoyed or meals of, blackened shrimp (6 large flavorful fellows cooked nicely on a bed of risotto), cheese burger, turkey burger, pasta, and beef short rib. Started with ceasar and wedge salads. All in a casual dining experience.“
“A truly lovely outdoor restaurant but the food was a disappointment-not a deal breaker but nothing standout.Great front of house staff. I would have initially said it was not great value, however, I don't know the Palm Springs restaurant scene.“
“Martini Time ?•Stopped in while on vacation in Palm Springs for afternoon cocktail. Chose to sit outside on the patio because… why not ??♂️ Friendly, fast service with delish drinks to choose from. Really enjoyed this outdoor spot and would like to come back for some foods when we are in town ?“
“Food was incredible. Whatever your diet, keto, paleo, carnivore, vegetarian....thus place has it...fresh, wholesome, variety packed. The rotisserie yams....must have.Service not so much. I would have told the manager this but he disappeared half way thru my meal. You know simple things like"Hello my name is such and such how are you today?"Or"Your food will be out in a few minutes"Or"Sorry the check took 30 minutes to bring, I hope you have a good day"Ps please bring appetizers out first not w meal“
“We have been to this Casa Mendoza a few times in the last couple of weeks. Beautiful decor. Great service. Really good food. Sit inside or outside, they both are great. Nice nice bar. Make sure to get the guac. YUMM! Looking forward to going back tomorrow. You won't be disappointed.“
“Stopped in here with a small group on a Friday night, so I expected it to be busy. It was. However! The server, bartender and other staff were all incredibly friendly and nice, helpful, etc. We essentially came here to try the World Famous Fish Tacos and man o man, they did NOT disappoint. I had the cod, my fiancee had the shrimp and her brother had the Ahi. Everyone enjoyed each of the tacos. We live in Seattle, so authentic Mexican food that is actually good, is pretty rare. Especially fish tacos. These were off the charts. Seriously, we heard about this place on one of the food network shows, not sure which. Either way, it was a great suggestion. If I lived in PS, I'd be there every week.Only one less point because we were unsure where to go or sit when we arrived and it was loud/confusing due to live music. Not at all complaining about that, just was confusing and took a few moments to figure everything out. After that, everything was amazing. Would definitely return if/when I go back to PS.“
“We arrived early - servers were not available to serve until 5 so we were put outside despite having requested inside seating. A few minutes later guests were being inside leaving us feeling we were lied to. The meal was incredible- service great. Really a wonderful evening tho started poorly.“
“This is my go-to special occasion restaurant and it's a huge treat whenever I get to eat here. It's not a vegan restaurant, but their menu is much more plant focused than most. On our last visit we got the grilled artichoke appetizer which was unbelievably tender and is served with warm vegan butter for dipping, the paella and the king oyster scallops. All were excellent. My friend has never eaten vegan food before and was blown away. He said the king oyster scallops were one of the best meals he's ever had! We also got the warm chocolate cake for dessert, which was amazing. Bonus - they have a fab mocktails menu including CBD drinks which were seriously delicious. Can't wait for another special occasion to return here! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-14“
“Visiting this lovely area, we decided to spend our 48th anniversary dinner at Morton's. Never having been to a Morton's before trying to decide where to go based on reviews and proximity to where we were staying. We landed there. It was fantastic! Because we determined not to roll out of there when it was all said, and done, we started with the scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Husband had the French onion soup, we shared the ribeye and added a loaded baked potato, asparagus, and the creamed spinach. Husband didn't love the cream spinach but the asparagus was absolutely delicious, super tender, and the steak was fantastic! The loaded potato was ginormous, so I'm glad we shared that. Everything from the menu being printed with happy anniversary of the top, to them comping us a dessert everything was a fantastic. Plus the service was fantastic. Oscar spoiled us over and over. Highly recommend!“
“Definitely one of Palm Springs TOP things to see/do! Consider getting an annual pass that allows unlimited visits up to 4persons (it's the same amount). There is so much to see and something for every one, you'll need to come back more. Best to go midweek when not so crowded and volunteer guides are almost one on one. So informative on history, rare displays and best aviation collection anywhere. Monthly flyoits to keep some babies running, flower drops, FUN events. Great Gift shop anytime for a present. Now if only the cafe/bar could be set up inside of a big plane looking outside... with service by Stewardesses in 1st Class sections!“
“Someone recommended we stop into this small restaurant and bar right on Arenas near all the gay bars. Wonderful place with great staff and great food. My husband had the lobster eggs Benedict and he said it's the best he has ever had. I had the wedge salad and the pork potstickers. We both had drinks. Everything was amazing and we highly recommend this place. Their outdoor patio is very cute and good for people watching and great view of the mountains. Our server, Tara, was awesome!!“
“We had a fantastic few day stay at La Serena. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and welcoming. The bathrooms are huge. We had an outdoor spa that we did not use, so no insights there. The location is great - walk to everything with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast (which was included) was very good, and we had excellent dinner and drinks at the restaurant one evening. The pool was really nice. My only complaint would be that there is not enough seating/lounges for guests. On one day at least two sets of lounges were marked reserved but no one was using them when we walked by the pool earlier and then returned to swim several hours later. So we had no seats while they sat open for more than an hour. At this price you should be able to fully use the pool.“
“This is a nice little bar with a huge window. I've been meaning to have a drink here for a few years now. I forgot his name but the bartender was very nice and you could tell he likes his job. We got there and ordered a drink, and we're lucky enough to get a free order of some delicious bread sticks. The drink was very tasty for a decent price, so I would come back for more drinks.“
“Big sign outside saying how good their hamburgers are. The burgers are good, but be warned that they won't put ketchup on your burger. They want you to taste the flavor of the meat. This is not a 5 star restaurant! It is a clean, small bar and grill that serves what it brags about with friendly service that rates five stars for what it is. Looking forward to another burger!“
“Spent time here many times, staff and owners are great. So, when it came to time that I needed to hold a function, I turned to the Impala. Jim couldn't have made it easier. Steve helped me get images on the large screen. Play the music required. Believe they don't know the word no.“
“Super fun Dive Bar. Karaoke starts at 930pm and boy does this place know how to have fun. Lots of local regulars who can sing and are so warm and welcoming. We had a blast. Rockin Ray plays electric guitar along with you and that guy can play guitar (AMAZING)....Pool tables and tvs. Enjoy“
“This bar is outside the Hyatt Palm Springs. Had lunch there. I had the ceasar salad and the fish tacos and they were delicious. The tacos were flavorful and the ceasar had tons of parmesan and the dressing was homemade. Good atmosphere and right in the center of everything in Palm Springs. Service and staff were very nice too.“
“I placed a phone order a few days ago & the hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time trying them & I was very please with how helpful the hostess was. The food was good and it was done in a timely manner. Once I went to pick up the order, the hostess (who took my order) was very welcoming. I didn't catch her name but she had blue hair.“
“We've eaten at Bongo Johnny's on each of our 3 visits to Palm Springs. The food is consistently very good! The staff is amazingly polite and accommodating. And the outside patio is delightful!!Kid-friendliness: Perfectly fine for families and childrenWheelchair accessibility: Even though it is on the second floor, there is an elevator in the rear.“
“I had an incredible time at the Boudoir Boys burlesque show! The show's production was top-notch, and the cast delivered an amazing performance. I highly recommend bringing this show back for another run - it's a must-see!Parking: Free parking options, both in the lot and on the street. However, it's worth noting that these spots can be limited, especially during peak hours or busy days.“
“This is my favorite bar for beer. The selection of beers varies weekly and is unmatched anywhere in Palm Desert or even the Valley. Bar Manager Buzz is well versed in the beers and ales he orders and serves. For me, food becomes second place to the great choice of beers but, it certainly cannot be overlooked. The Kitchen staff churn out delicious meals to compliment the beverages.....love the fish and chips and of course the wings. I am among many beer lovers that consider the Tap-In Taproom their regular "go to" bar.“
“Vicky's is always a highlight for the weekend. It is an exciting destination that freatures the best entertainment in the business. With different lically featured acts 6 days a week and the best owners that engage with the clients every night. The bartenders, hostesses, and hosts are the best in the business. Vicky's is the Bomb!!“
“Happy New 2024 Year Palm Springs!!! Complementary food, complementary French, champagne, DJ spinning some bomb-Ass tunes all night, and a very happy crowd. All were satisfied and ALL were in the mood to party! No other place to get your drink on than at STREETBAR on Arenas Road .... Palm Springs, Ca.“
“Big thank you to our valet Ryan and front desk Darren. Both were very friendly and accommodating. We also loved Robert and Tony at the bar…we were not in the mood for any more alcohol and they made us a lovely mock-tail. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back!“
“Ambiance is great. Love the decor. I was disappointed this time though. Service was slow and then at the end it seemed we were being rushed out. My stuff poblano was delicious but the yuca fries were rock hard and the pollo blanco was exceptionally dry. Disappointing given I had a great experience last year.“
“Classic margaritas, periquitos, carne asada, Carnitas Michoacanas, verde sauce for chips. All top notch and not dried out. Best Mexican dinner ever. While others have fallen off post-Covid, this place continues as the best, service was great. Ambiance always nice.“
“Family owned and operated. Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in years. This not a chain. I repeat not a chain. The sauce is so authentic you don't need to add peppers. The nopales is grilled and tender with onions and spices. Simply fabulous!“
“I love their patio seating during a nice day in Palm Desert to people watch. I had the pancakes with a choice of one meat. The pancakes were delicious. It's not like normal thick pancakes. It's big, thin, and a little sweet. $14 for three pancakes and ham is a great price. Only issue is it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive so don't expect fast food.“
“The Chavela Beer was delicious spicy n refreshing. We heard how good the nachos were so we tried them as well as the chicken chimichungas. Sharable for 3 to 4. The margaritas ? are big n delightful for a sunny day in La Quinta. Most def. Will be back!“
“While visiting family in Palm Springs, my father reserved a table for us at Si Bon. It was an excellent experience. The service was excellent and the food delectable. I had the wedge salad with maplewood bacon, roasted hazelnuts and Maytag bleu cheese. It's important to note that the dish is gluten-free. My husband loved the Smoked Salmon Plate, and my father had the mussels. Delicious food with a great atmosphere. I would recommend leaving the kids at home.“
