Friendly local bar in the Arenas district. My favorite bar to visit when I'm in town.
Full bar with daily specials for premium spirits. The pre-dinner and post-dinner crowd tends to be over 40. The younger club crowd enjoys the bar after 9 p.m. Friday nights always draw a big crowd of all ages. A line to get in forms around 4 p.m. Takes about 20 minutes to get inside once a line forms. The bar has wall seating, some tables, and a large bar with seating, providing a comfortable space for everyone. Live performances, karaoke nights, and drag queens contribute to the lively energy, along with great AC and fantastic drinks like gin and tonics with fresh lime. The crowd is a mix of old and young, and the staff is very friendly. While it is cash only during peak events, most days and nights accept both card and cash. Streetbar is also known for its friendly atmosphere and fun environment, with plenty of street parking and friendship. No food is served, but occasionally, a lady walks around selling tamales, which are considered the best. Two tables are reserved for wheelchair access, with the back door being the best option.
