“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

My guests had the lunch Meatball Sandwich and the Ravioli, respectively. Both dishes looked good and the sauce on the Ravioli was chunky and looked great.“

“It was a great experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great. Nice and quiet. Clean and neat but the food was fantastic. We both had spaghetti with meat sauce and it was just perfect. Not to mention reasonably priced.“

“Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Had the Coachella sandwich, so fresh (did I mention how fresh the food is?) and crispy. The lemon poppy- moist and delicious with a slightly crunchy top. Cinnamon loaf- nice consistency, not too sweet. I was driving home and the wife and I almost turned around to get another Coachella! Nice girls too!“

“Had such a lovely experience and our waiter/server Luis was amazing. I was visiting from San Diego and will definitely be back again and maybe try The Edge steakhouse. Though we had rain the view of the clouds was amazing and the food was the best I've had. I had the scallops and they were so delicious my mother had salmon and loved it. “True to its name, they serve burgers and beers along with quite a big menu they have plenty of options to choose from. Portions are a good size and definitely match the price. Lots of tvs playing anything you can think of along with trivia which my party quite enjoyed. Desert was great.“

“My boyfriend and I were in Palm Springs, and we usually visit smaller, charming breakfast spots. However, I suggested we go to IHOP to save money. He was surprised to find that his meal cost $10. Where could you get a meal for that price? We live in Beverly Hills, where a bagel sandwich costs $25. If you’re hungry and looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price, IHOP is a good choice.“

“Good experience. Not great, but good. Our server wasn't particularly outgoing, but very efficient. Started out with a really good Manhattan, and bread. We shared a chopped salad that was tasty, but so small that by the time it was split there was only 4-5 bites. Everything is à la cart; we shared an order of garlic mashed potatoes which were pretty good. When our filets came, they were sitting by themselves on a big old plate; no veggies, no garnish. Wife's filet was perfect, mine was overcooked, which they took care of promptly. I guess we're spoiled by other steak houses that offer some kind of veggie with the meal, instead of having to buy it separately. Overall a good experience, but we've had better.“

“One of the best meals and experiences I've had in a long time. And I go to a lot of restaurants. Our server Scott was fabulous. He was knowledgeable about wines, the steaks and the cocktails. The timing was perfect, the meats cooked perfectly. I can't say enough. It was really a wonderful evening. I can't wait to go back.“

It is in the shopping center where I shop for groceries and I have seen it for years.\nLast night we wanted to go somewhere close by, so we tried it.\nIt was really good. “It's easy to sit in the car, scroll through social media and get a burger at in n out across the street. But come on, go in and take a moment to sit in a throw back BBQ/ western restaurant. It's not as fast but that's the point, it's better.... Sit and enjoy good food with your family. I'm seeing these places drop off the map and I hope we can stop it before we become a Amazon, immediate gratification country. Great goody, great atmosphere....that's all we need!“
