“I came here recently with my friends and their two small kids, and we had a great time!
At some point in the meal one of the kids must have knocked my sunglasses off of my shirt and under the table and I didn’t notice. I called 4-5 days later when I realized that’s where they must have gone missing and this very nice fella named Chris answered the phone. I told him my story and asked if he could check lost and found and it turns out they had them! I told him I lived in Joshua Tree so it might be a minute before I get out there again but asked if he could hold them for me….he mentioned that he was coming up to JT later in the week for an event and offered to bring them up for me(this is about a 45 min drive)! It was way above and beyond the call of duty. I met him at the event and sure enough he showed up with my sunglasses! Such a nice dude, and such a kind thing to do! I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Waters Cafe, and I felt compelled to leave a review because good service deserves to be recognized.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest young host. I believe his name was Julian, It’s becoming harder to find young people with such wonderful manners these days, but Julian was kind, patient, and welcoming. He greeted everyone with a smile, made us feel right at home.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, our server was outstanding as well.

We’ll certainly be back, and I hope Waters Cafe knows what a wonderful employees they have. Five stars all around!“

“Wow!! Absolutely amazing restaurant and bar! Flew in late last night and wanted a fun place with atmosphere to have appetizers and drinks. This was the perfect place!! Outdoor or indoor patio with mist kept is cool and refreshed. Loved the dim lighting and the modern decor! So inviting and relaxing. Fresh flowers on the tables and comfortable chairs. Very good service ! Excellent food! Tasty drinks that were visually appealing!! I’ll definitely go back ! Julio The manager greeted us and chatted with us and made us feel so welcome!! “It felt like I had walked into a friend's home—that's how welcomed and cared for I felt while dining here! The hospitality was incredible. The bread service was a 10/10. I seriously wish I could go back RIGHT NOW just for the bread!!! And the Lychee Star?! I honestly don't even need to go into everything else I ordered just know that EVERYTHING was a 10/10. “Went here to celebrate my son's graduation from college. We had a fantastic experience. We started off with some appetizers drinks. I had the avocado taco salad. The food was excellent. We all indulged in a mai tai, they were perfect. We can't wait to dine here again. The atmosphere was great, our server was very pleasant. The manager even came over to ask how everything was and asked if we needed anything.“

“I chanced on this place from a person I met at a bar downtown DHS. Looks kinda trashy from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. The best Karaoke experience I've ever had and I do it a lot. A real stage, stage lighting, smoke machines and friggin A, an actual guitar player who looks like Mick Mars playing along if he knows the song and he seemed to know them all! I sang Black Keys, Deep Purple and The Who so right up his alley. Redd was impressed enough that he bought me a shot after I sang The Seeker, never had a DJ buy me a drink! Both the bartenders were super nice and drinks were really inexpensive so this place freaking rocks. Great crowd too, lots of really friendly locals. And also get this, the place has several pool tables, the longest shuffleboard I've ever seen and dog friendly too!“

“I love a speakeasy that actually commits to being a speakeasy. The entrance is very unassuming, the vibes on the inside were really cool (a little loud though), and the drinks were made with care. The one I got was described to be similar to a gimlet on the menu (I don’t remember the name of it), it was really delicious.“

The taste, presentation and service were all exceptional... especially given that they have only been open for three weeks. The Mole Enchilada was the best I have ever had. “Bar staff is always friendly and welcoming. Came in at 9pm. They were on it from beginning to end even though it was late. Bar snack menu is awesome. “Took our neighbors for their 40th anniversary. Even though they’ve lived in the valley for multiple decades, they had never been there (which is what I had hoped so as to surprise them). Took us newbies (less than 3 years) to introduce them to one of the valley’s hidden gems. They were captivated and very impressed and appreciative of their dining experience at this lovely setting. The espresso Martini was just incredible, so smooth cold and delicious. The raspberry Lemon Drop was the best, not sweet not too tart just perfect. Next was the blueberry Kinsey equally amazing!

These are truly perfectly made drinks! If you’re looking for true martinis this is it!

We had the honor and the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jack. He treated us like long-lost family and we immediately loved him. He’s very gracious and kind and he made our dining experience much more memorable and happy.
I’m impressed with the atmosphere. Very chic and very comfortable. Everything is extremely clean and well taken care of inside and outside.
I recommend this restaurant to the highest extent.

Sat at the bar Geoff took super great care of us. Filet mignon, wedgie salad, split pea soup. Oh, Did IUmention the AMAZING grilled vegetables. WE LOVE! One of the most outstanding meals we have had. cactus jacks TOP OF THE LINE.

“Burgers and Beer is a cool spot I found nearby EOS. The place looked pretty big from the outside, so I asked my partner if she wanted to do an early dinner. I noticed they have daily specials, but be mindful that they usually serve from 11-3, and after that, the happy hour menu takes over till 6.
We originally came for the tuesday burger deal, but we arrived after 3, we still ordered a burger and decided to try the machaca chimichangas from the HH menu. The service was great, thanks Javier. I really appreciated the variety, not just food and beers, but sports on TV too.
The only thing was that the bottom bun of the burger was very soggy, our server joked its gravity’s fault...
Maybe adding a crisp, dry lettuce layer underneath could help. Overall, great vibes and a fun place to chill and hang out.“
