Our first time visiting and the food was perfect and authentic. The plates are big and the drinks on point. We each got margarita's, belly's full, service consistent, warm and friendly. The atmosphere was very hometown. We'll definitely visit again soon!
My sister was going to diner and asked if I wanted her to get something for me. I said yes and then called the restaurant to ask the cost of the appetizer. A couple hours later south of the border called me to ask if I had just left their restaurant. I said no but my sister just left the restaurant and they told me she forgot her take out order! That is above and beyond service! Way to go South of the Border Desert Hot Springs
