Handel's Homemade Ice Cream in Indio is a must-stop spot for delicious ice cream to cool off from the summertime heat. The ice cream is great, rich, creamy, and exactly what you expect, with some of the best flavors around town like Chocoholic Chunk and Strawberry Cheesecake Chunk. Portions are generous and the prices are great. The staff is amazing, friendly, and incredibly helpful, providing quality and incredible customer service. A downside is that this location does not offer samples, which can make choosing flavors harder. Still, it is a solid, delightful spot and absolutely worth going out of your way to visit.
