Best Deli food I've had since I left Chicago 10 years ago! I've been searching for good deli dining in the Palm Springs area and this is finally it! The brunch plate for 2 was more than enough for 2 people and all the items tasted home-made - herring in cream sauce, potato salad, cole slaw, the best lox I've had in years, smoked whitefish, etc. I also had a side order of Kishke - amazing! Love this place so good. Usually leave with a box of bakery goods but not this time. Woman at front desk was so rude when we arrived with reservations mind you but was still there when we were buying baked goods that we just said never mind. Then she said she was the owner and oh boy we never saw her before and honestly she should not be there to talk to customers. We love the food here and come often and bring visitors but if she is there next time with that horrible customer...read full review

Four of us went to J’s last night for dinner. I was expecting to find a delicious selection of sandwich’s. boy was I wrong. The full menu had everything. My wife and I selected the meat loaf and we were not sorry. A large slice of delicious meat loaf covered in gravy. It was beyond excellent. It was the best I have ever had. We are waiting for Sunday brunch for our next visit. And the staff absolutely top notch.
